The invention relates to a compression dressing for persons who have undergone an ostomy operation (the rectum led out through the abdominal cavity) and who subsequently received a hernia (positioning around the surgical site). Ca. 60% of all stoma surgeons develop a hernia within the first% year after surgery.

The compression dressing is manufactured according to the patient's goals and sent to the Stomia Ambulatory or similar. which then tries the dressing on the patient. Then the center of the stoma 10 is marked and a stoma bag is sent back to ETO GARMENTS ApS which makes the hole for the stoma in the bandage. It is very important that this hole is made correctly so that no problems occur when the ostomy bag is going out through the dressing.

A hernia develops close to the surgical site therefore it is important that the ostomy hole fits 15 to the type of ostomy bag used by each patient and at the same time is properly placed in the compression dressing. If the hole is too narrow, it can gnaw a hole in the ostomy bag and if the hole is too large the hernia will push out through the hole.

The stoma / hernia bandage is made of an elastic material with extra abdominal reinforcement so that the 20 hernia is held in place. The ostomy hole is edged with an edge band so that the hole does not change during use. In addition, a cotton reinforcement may be seen inside the bandage.

The compression dressing is made with an open step so that the patient can enter the toilet when urinating. The bandage is worn directly on the body where the patient takes a regular panty outside. When visiting the toilet (urination) it is easy to take off the regular panty.

A previously known aid for ostomy / hernia patients is an adjustable abdominal belt with hole 30 for the ostomy bag. A belly belt to hold the hernia in place much under the clothing is difficult to place properly over the stoma and cannot maintain the same position throughout the day without several adjustments. Another well-known product is GB 231 1942. A 2 mm thick plastic flange with a 50 mm wide length adjustable belt. The disadvantage of this is also the problem of having the correct restraint during daily use as there are no restraint options in the up and down direction. A hernia can develop to the size of a football and here the flange will not be able to cover the entire hernia. During re-operations there may be a hernia elsewhere on the abdomen / abdomen and here the flange will also not be able to cover.

The invention provides a bandage made according to the individual patient's goals that effectively holds the hernia in place regardless of where the hernia sits on her abdomen and abdomen and which is comfortable to use and ensures that the hole for the ostomy bag sits properly all the time.
