Description

Den foreliggende opfindelse angår en fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af en phosphorsyreholdig pasta.
I en række tilfælde, således f.eks. ved transport eller lagring af phosphorsyre samt især ved dens an-5 vendelse til overfladebehandling eller rensning af metaller, er det af stor betydning, at phosphorsyren ikke forekommer i tyndtflydende, men derimod i pastaagtig form. Phosphorsyre i pastaform løber f.eks. ikke af en metaloverflade, hvor der skal fjernes rust, således at 10 syren forbliver længe nok i berøring med rustlaget til at kunne opløse det.
Principielt kan vandige og ikke-vandige, flydende systemer som bekendt overføres til pastaer ved, at de under omrøring eller æltning får tilsat en så stor mængde 15 uorganiske eller organiske fyldstoffer, at den ønskede konsistens opnås. Den i hvert enkelt tilfælde nødvendige mængde fyldstof afhænger fuldstændigt af disse fyldstoffers art. Således behøves der f.eks. til fortykning af en vandig syre meget mindre fyldstof, hvis der som sådant an-20 vendes findispers kiselsyre i stedet for grovere kiselgur.
Fra GB-patentskrift nr. 1.010.713 er det kendt at fremstille en smøremiddeltilsætning med antikorroderende egenskaber i pastaform, ved at kort- eller langkædede aminer neutraliseres helt eller delvis med koncentrerede 25 chrom- eller phosphorsyreopløsninger. De derved fremkomne produkter er enten vandopløselige eller blandbare med mineralolier og egner sig ikke som pastaer, af hvilke man forventer, at de ikke afblandes, selv ikke efter længere tids opbevaring, beholder deres konsistens og har 30 høj evne til optagelse af de stoffer, som man indarbejder i pastaerne, alt efter anvendelsesformålet.
Det har ligeledes længe været kendt, at flydende systemer kan overføres til pastaer ved dannelse af emulsioner. Hertil behøves mindre mængder af de organiske kom-35 ponenter end til de netop omtalte faste dispersioner. Så- 141630 2 ledes kan f.eks. fedtsyrer ved hjælp af en emulgator, fortrinsvis et ammoniumsalt af disse syrer, emulgeres således i vand, at der fremkommer en pasta. I stedet for fedtsyrer kan, som ventet, også anvendes andre 5 forbindelser med lange carbonhydridkæder, f.eks. paraffinolie eller fedtalkoholer, idet man dog yderligere må tilsætte en emulgator særskilt. Denne form for pastadannelse har i lang tid været anvendt på mange anvendelsesområder, således f.eks. inden for levnedsmiddel-10 kemien og kosmetikken.
På denne måde kan også vandige syrer overføres til pastaagtig form. Således er det ifølge DE-patent-beskrivelsen nr. 1.082.475 kendt at fremstille rustfjerner-pastaer, der foruden phosphorsyre indeholder et fortyk-15 ningsmiddel, f.eks. en forsæbelig olie eller en fedtsyre, der kan overføres til en sæbe, samt som overfladeaktivt middel en emulgator, f.eks. en tertiær amin, der har en fedt-alkylgruppe og to polyoxyethylenkæder ved nitrogenatomet, eller fedtsyreamider, der har to polyoxyethylenkæder ved 20 nitrogenatomet.
Ved den fra DE-patentbeskrivelsen nr. 1.082.475 kendte fremgangsmåde blandes med hinanden i særskilte kar på den ene side f.eks. 75%'s phosphorsyre og vand samt på den anden side amin og stearinsyre, begge blan-.25 dinger opvarmes til 60°C, og derefter hældes den anden blanding i den første. Herved fås en tyndtflydende, cremeagtig masse, der ved henstand natten over fortykker til en glat pasta.
Rustfjernerpastaer, der fremstilles på grundlag 30 af emulsioner, har dog den ulempe, at der i pastaen er kemiske forbindelser til stede, der ikke tager del i rustfjernerprocessen. Desuden har emulsioner den egenskab at tørre ind under ødelæggelse af strukturen. Herved foregår der en klumpdannelse, der fører til en uensartet 35 indvirkning af den som rustfjerner tjenende syre.

Den foreliggende opfindelse har til opgave at fremstille en phosphorsyreholdig pasta, der ikke indeholder specielle fortykkelsesmidler eller fyldstoffer, og hvori der, alt efter anvendelsesformålet, 5 uden vanskelighed kan indarbejdes et stort antal af de mest forskelligartede stoffer, således at en rust-fjernerpasta f.eks. kan sammensaættes af kun to komponenter, nemlig vandig syre og korrosionbeskyttelsesmiddel.
10 Overraskende nok løses denne opgave ved den her omhandlede fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af en phosphorsyreholdig pasta, der består af en vandig dispersion af et hydratiseret phosphat af en langkædet amin og eventuelt af en emulgator eller en blanding af 15 emulgatorer, f.eks. på basis af organiske phosphorsyre-estere, og/eller af med vand ikke-blandbare organiske opløsningsmidler, f.eks. paraffiniske carbonhydrider eller chlorerede carbonhydrider, og den her omhandlede fremgangsmåde er ejendommelig ved, at der til en i forvejen 20 fremstillet findelt vandig dispersion af en langkædet amin ved forhøjet temperatur sættes en ligeledes forvarmet phosphorsyre under kraftig omrøring, indtil neutralisationspunktet er nået, hvorefter reaktionsblandingen koldrøres.
25 Ved fremgangsmåden ifølge opfindelsen foretræk kes det, at arainen er fremstillet i forvejen i form af en vandig emulsion, da der herved opnås en bedre og lettere dispergering. Denne emulsion kan yderligere få tilsat kendte emulgatorer, f.eks. sådanne på basis af or-30 ganiske phosphorsyreestere. Desuden kan de, ligeledes til bedre dispergering, indeholde organiske opløsningsmidler, der ikke er blandbare med vand, såsom f.eks. paraffin-carbonhydrider, især petroleum, samt chlorerede carbonhydrider. Herved kan emulgatorerne anvendes i mængder 35 på 5-10 vægtprocent, henført til aminen, og såfremt der anvendes et organisk opløsningsmiddel, i de gængse mængder på 5-10 vægtprocent, henført til dette opløsningsmiddel.

Det er en fordel, at udgangskomponenterne eller deres blandinger holdes på en temperatur på ca. 80°C, indtil neutralisationspunktet er nået, fordi det herved bliver lettere at opnå en fint dispergeret emulsion. Ef-5 ter at neutralisationspunktet er nået, koldrøres reak-tionsblandingen. Nedkølingen fra reaktionstemperaturen til stuetemperatur bør herved ske hurtigst muligt.
Det er ligeledes en fordel, at der anvendes vandig phosphorsyre med en koncentration på 5-90 vægtprocent, især 10 på 30-60 vægtprocent, da sådanne syrer er de i handelen gængse og derfor prisbilligste.
Endelig er det en fordel, at der som langkædet amin anvendes en sådan med en carbonkæde på 12-18 car-bonatomer, nemlig de tilsvarende alkylaminer, alkylen-15 diaminer eller andre aminer med én eller flere amin-funktioner af primær, sekundær eller tertiær art på en langkædet, ikke-substitueret eller substitueret carbon-hydridgruppe, såsom f.eks. stearylamin, oleylamin eller fedtaminblandinger, såsom kokosfedtamin eller talgfedt-20 amin. Fordelen ved disse aminer ligger i, at de giver pastaer, som udmærker sig ved, at deres pastakonsistens er meget stabil, dvs. de afblandes ikke, og de har en usædvanlig stor evne til optagelse af yderligere komponenter, f.eks. findelte faststoffer, uden at de derved mi-.25 ster deres konsistens.
Efter at neutralisationspunktet er nået, kan reaktionsblandingen afhængigt af pastaens anvendelsesformål under omrøring få tilsat yderligere komponenter ved reaktionstemperaturen eller ved lavere temperatu-30 rer.
Sådanne komponenter kan f.eks. være: igen phosphorsyre og/eller langkædede aminer, kortkædede aminer og/el-ler uorganiske eller organiske syrer, såsom f.eks. oxalsyre, vinsyre, svovlsyre, saltsyre, flussyre, salpetersyre, og/el-35 ler slibemidler, f.eks. kvartsmel eller polerlerjordarter, og/eller hjælpestoffer, såsom thiourinstof, ammoniumchlorid samt andre som specielle metalrense- eller pudse- eller korrosionsbeskyttelsesmidler kendte stoffer, såsom f.eks.
5 141630 voksarter, vokssyrer og siliconolie.
Den ifølge opfindelsen fremstillede pasta finder anvendelse enten alene eller efter tilsætning af yderligere komponenter f.eks. til behandling af metal-5 overflader, især som metalrense- eller rustfjernermidler eller f.eks. til behandling af betonoverflader.
De her omhandlede produkter udviser en række fordele i forhold til de efter kendte fremgangsmåder fremkomne produkter. De råder over en høj koncentration 10 af virksom substans, da de ud over de til metalrensning og metalbeskyttelse krævede komponenter ikke indeholder artsfremmede komponenter. De lader sig let, eventuelt ved afvaskning med vand, igen fjerne fra flader, hvorpå, de er påført, hvorved de efterlader en hydrofob beskyt-15 telsesfilm med en usædvanlig længe vedvarende virkning på den blanke metaloverflade. De kan afhængigt af an-vendlesesformål indstilles surt, neutralt eller basisk.
Nedenstående eksempler belyser fremgangsmåden ifølge opfindelsen nærmere.

Eksempel 1 4 g stearylamin opvarmes med 48 g vand i vandbad til 80°C og røres glat med en hurtigtløbende omrører. Derpå tilsættes langsomt under omrøring så mange 25 vægtdele til ca. 80°C forvarmet, 85 vægtprocents phosphor syre, at neutralisationspunktet nås, hvorefter der koldrøres. Der fås således en meget fast pasta, i hvilken yderligere komponenter kan indarbejdes (jfr. eksempel 2).

Eksempel 2
Der gås frem som i eksempel 1, og efter at neutralisationspunktet er nået, tilsættes yderligere phos-phorsyre, ca. i en mængde svarende til mængden af tilsat 35 vand, i kold tilstand ved ca. 20°C. Der fås en smidig pasta med et stort indhold af phosphorsyre, hvilken pasta f.eks. kan anvendes som rustfjerner.

Fremstillingen af pasta sker som i eksempel 1.
I stedet for stearylamin anvendes oleylamin, kokosfedt-amin eller talgfedtamin.

Eksempel 4 20 g stearylamin opvarmes med 2 g af en emulgator på basis af en organisk phosphorsyreester til 80°C, og 100 g vand forvarmet til 80°C røres langsomt i. Efter 10 glatrøring indarbejdes 75 vægtprocents phosphorsyre på den i eksempel 1 beskrevne måde.
Eksempel 5
Til amin emulgator-blandingen i eksempel 4 sættes 15 før vandtilsætningen indtil 75 g petroleum. Denne tilsætning bevirker, at der opnås en bedre gennemtrængningsevne over for rustlaget.
Eksempel 6 20 Blandingerne i eksempel 1-5 får tilsat, efter at neutralisationspunktet er nået eller senere, indtil 30 vægtprocent slibemiddel, henført til pastaen. De herved fremkomne pastaer anvendes som metalpudsemiddel med en rustløsnende virkning og udmærker sig overfor de 25 til dette formål allerede kendte pastaer ved, at den mekaniske rensningseffekt suppleres med en kemisk rustfjernelse.
Eksempel 7 30 Der gås frem som i eksempel 1, og efter at pa staens neutralisationspunkt er nået, tilsættes en svag sur opløsning af 8 g thiourinstof i 50 g vand.
Desuden kan der tilsættes polermiddel, voksarter og opløsningsmiddel, og der fås således et virksomt sølvpudse-35 middel med et korrosionsbeskyttelsesmiddel. I stedet for thiourinstof kan der anvendes ammoniumchlorid, og der fås derefter et kobberpudsemiddel med et korrosionsmiddel.

Eksempel 8
Til fremstilling af et neutralt metalpudsemiddel omsættes først 3 g stearylamin, 4 g emulgator, 50 g vand samt 20 g petroleum ifølge eksempel 5 med 1,3 g 85 vægt-5 procents phosphorsyre, og derefter får reaktionsproduktet tilsat 4 g af en vokssyre, 20 g polerlerjord, 20 g af et slibemiddel samt 5 g siliconolie.
