Abstract

The station has two neighboring conveyor belts (3,7) moving at different speeds to turn the goods (4) they carry, and an optical position sensor. The sensor is an image processing system, which repeatedly determines the position of the goods to be packed and uses this data for repeated regulation of the drive (5a,b) for the conveyor belts.
