Gegenstand der Zusatzpatentanmeldung V 5702 V/ 37 d ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines glatten, vorzugsweise farbigen Asphalt- oder ähnlichen Fußbodens durch Behandlung seiner Oberfläche mit Stoffen, die mit Asphalt od. dgl. angereichert sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in dem Gemisch von feinen Mineralstoffen an Stelle der Bindemitteltröpfchen, z.B . Bitumentröpfchen:, ein thermoplastischer Kunststoff bekannter Art in pulverförmiger Beschaffenheit verwendet wird. Obwohl mit diesem Gemisch der Erweichungspunkt der Fußbodenoberfläche den jeweiligen Erfordernissen gut angepaßt werden kann, ist bei ihm doch nicht in vollem Maße eine haltbare Verbindung mit dem Asphaltbelag oder der Unterschicht gewährleistet. Der Gegenstand der Zusatzpatentanmeldung V 5702 V/37 d wird daher dadurch weiter ausgebildet und verbessert, daß dem in die noch heiße Asphaltoberfläche einzureibenden oder einzubügelnden Gemisch außer dem thermoplastischen Kunststoff Bitumen od. dgl: zugesetzt wird.
