Description
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Dispergator für Kautschukmischungen, bei denen im ganzen oder teilweisen Austausch gegen Ruß Füllstoffe, wie Tonerdegel, Kalziumsilikat oder Aluminiumsulfat, Verwendung finden. Man fand insbesondere bei der Herstellung von Naturkautschukmischungen, daß die genannten Füllstoffe bei der Verwendung der üblichen Dispergatoren, wie Montanwachs, Wollfett u.dgl., sehr schlecht dispergieren, welche Eigenschaft sich bis zu einer Nichtverarbeitbarkeit der Mischung steigern kann. Daneben wurden auch unzureichende und ungleichmässige physikalische Eigenschaften der Vulkanisate festgestellt.The invention relates to a dispersant for rubber mixtures in which fillers, such as alumina gel, calcium silicate or aluminum sulfate, are used in whole or in part for replacement of carbon black. Erfindungsgemäß werden die genannten Füllstoffe mit Triäthanolamin als Dispergator in Kautschukmischungen eingemischt. Triäthanolamin gehört in die Klasse hydrophiler Dispergatoren, die eine gewisse Quellfähigkeit für Naturkautschuk besitzen. Infolge seiner Baseneigenschaft neutralisiert er zusätzlich die in oben genannten Füllstoffen vorhandenen Verunreinigungen sauren Charakters und löst darüber hinaus eine mäßige Vulkanisationsbeschleunigung aus.According to the invention, the fillers mentioned are mixed into rubber mixtures with triethanolamine as a dispersant. Ein weiterer wesentlicher Vorteil besteht darin, dass man unabhängig von den verschiedenen Anlieferungszuständen (Schwankungen im Wassergehalt) der Füllstoffe wird, die bisher entscheidenden Einfluß auf die Verarbeitungsfähigkeit der entsprechenden Mischungen hatten. Auch wird der Gütegrad des Vulkanisates über den bisher bekannten Stand wesentlich gehoben, was sich insbesondere in der erhöhten Strukturfestigkeit selbst im Vergleich mit aktiven Ruß gefüllten Vulkanisaten bemerkbar macht.It has been observed that in the process according to the invention there is an easier and more uniform distribution of the above-mentioned fillers in the mixture.
