DEUTSCHES PATENTAMTGERMAN PATENT OFFICE
The invention relates to a device for collating individual pieces, for example of sheets from different stacks. So far, mechanically driven ones have been used for this purpose Tables are used, on the edge of which the stacks of sheets of the same content are placed or possibly in existing compartments have been inserted. When the table disc rotates, which is triggered by an on Foot arranged motor with transmission gear was made, the sheets belonging together could of the individual stacks are gradually removed from them without the operator needed to change location. Such tables were probably quite useful for a few stacks, Difficulties arose, however, with a multi-tooth stack because of the large disks and thus took up considerable space. Even the arrangement of the step table could not be change a lot, because this resulted in difficulties in the withdrawal process again, because ao the top or bottom sheet of a setting was easily overlooked. One then went over to To use drum-type gathering machines, in which the sheets to be collated are stacked in compartments arranged on a rotating drum. To the subjects in hers to hold a horizontal or a correspondingly inclined position, the shafts of an eccentric
