Description

In der Technik der spanlosen Verformung der Metalle wird heute zur Herstellung von dünnwandigen Hohlkörpern vielfach ein Verfahren verwendet, das als Fließpressen bezeichnet wird. Es besteht darin, daß auf eine Metallplatte, ζ. B. eine aus Blech geschnittene Ronde, schlagartig ein Stempel gedrückt wird, der bewirkt, daß das Metall an der Stempelwand in dünner, zusammenhängender Schicht entgegengesetzt zur Preßrichtung in die Höhe steigt oder durch einen Ringansatz der durchgehenden Aufnehmerbohrung in der Preßrichtung abfließt. Auf diese Weise werden z. B. Tuben, Büchsen, Konservendosen und Rohre erhalten. Das Vormaterial für diesen Prozeß des Fließpressens wird aus gewalzten oder gepreßten Blechen, Bändern oder Stangen hergestellt, ζ. Β. durch Ausschneiden. Hierbei hat man es für erforderlich gehalten, ein gründlich durchknetetes Material als Vormaterial zu verwenden. Als fortschrittlich demgegenüber erschien die Verwendung von dichten und glattwandigen, ge- ao gossenen, runden Scheiben oder Platten als Vormaterial.
