In allen diesen Fällen fand also eine innige Verbindung des Farbbandes mit dem Abdeckmittel in der ganzen Fläche statt, was stets zur Folge hatte, daß die Farbaufnahmefähigkeit und damit auch die Ergiebigkeit der Bänder in mehr oder weniger starkem Maße gemindert wurde. Zum Ausgleich dieses Nachteils verwendete man vorzugsweise Gewebe grobere@r Struktur, wobei allerdings wiederum die Feinheit der Schrift wesentlich verschlechtert wurde.
