Process and device for removing the liquid content
the air or gases sucked in by dry air pumps, especially in steam condensation systems
The invention relates to a method and a device for removing the liquid content
the air sucked in by air pumps in steam condensation systems. In such condensation systems,
that work according to the mixing and injection process are primarily vacuum pumps
the dry air construction is used. Separates on the way from the condenser to the air pump
the moisture adhering to the air from, a process that then favors
when the outside air has a lower temperature than the cooling water. Against the
The resulting precipitations of water are particularly dry air pumps
sensitive, and their effectiveness is jeopardized if this precipitation becomes too great.
The present invention serves to remedy these inconveniences and will
through them a process and a facility created, which a hazard
of air pumps in condensation systems. The device according to the invention
consists
in that the air in the intake flow of the air pump in one
with the help of the compression heat of the air pump, heat exchangers are so high
is heated so that the liquid evaporates. Advantageously, the heat exchanger
a partial flow of the compressed air or gas is fed through a secondary line,
which this partial flow from the highest or one before this stage or
Cell taken from the air pump. About faster withdrawal and rapid evaporation
to achieve the moisture contained in the intake flow, the heat exchanger
contain in a manner known per se a hollow system through which the partial flow flows,
on the outer walls of the suction stream containing moisture impinges directly.
However, the outer walls of the separator can also pass through the partial flow
-be heated.
An advantageous and particularly compact design of the heat exchanger is that in a known manner an upright hollow cylinder has two chambers on its lower face, which are connected by a pipe system running inside the separator of considerable expansion, into one of which the heating current enters and from the others he leaves the system again after removing the heat. The exhaust stream of the compressor is fed to the side of the separator and leaves the same, after the moisture contained in it has evaporated, at the upper end. To possibly avoid the heating the compacted in the air or gas contained 01 can be in the supply line thereof, an oil recovery device to be switched on.

Trockenluftpumpe i beginnt.
Fig. I shows the dry air pump i, designed in this case as a rotary piston compressor, which conveys the compressed air into the line 2. The intake air is supplied through line 3, upstream of which the heat exchanger 4 is connected. The moist air or the gas enters the heat exchanger 4 ' through the suction line 5 , meets the outer walls of the hollow system 6 on the inside, on which the entrained moisture evaporates. The hollow system 6 is supplied with the sealing heat from the dry air pump i through a line 7 , which begins at one of the last cells 8 of the dry air pump i. After passing through the heater 6 , in the example shown, the heating current passes through the line 9 into an outer jacket io of the heat exchanger 4 and leaves it through line ii. Below the hollow system 6 , an oil separator 12 is arranged.
In Fig. 2 you can see the cylindrical jacket 13 of the heat exchanger 4, at the lower end of which is adjoined by a cylindrical space which is divided into two chambers 15 and 16 by the partition 14. The heating current passes through the nozzle 17 into the chamber 15 and then runs via the multiple U-tube system 18 to the chamber 16 in order to exit again through the nozzle ig. The suction flow enters the heat exchanger 4 through the lateral connection 2-o and leaves the heat exchanger 4 after evaporation of the entrained moisture through the opening 2i on the upper face of the heat exchanger.
