Process for the production of thiophosphoric acid esters Various processes are known for the production of phosphoric acid, thiaphosphoric acid or thionothiolphosphoric acid esters which contain a sulfonic group instead of an alkoxy group in an alkyl radical. The sulfoxide compounds corresponding to the above sulfones are not yet known. It has now been found that the easily accessible ß-chloroethyl or ß-bromoethyl-alkyl sulfides can be oxidized with hydrogen peroxide to the corresponding sulfoxides, and these sulfoxides can be mixed with the alkali or ammonium salts even under fairly mild conditions Implement O, O-dialkylthiol or O, O-dialkylthionothiolphosphoric acids, so that the desired thiophosphoric acid esters are formed in good yield. The reaction is illustrated by the implementation of O, O-diethylammonium thiol phosphate with ß-bromoethyl methyl sulfoxide Surprisingly, the halogens in the ß-chloro or ß-bromoethylalkyl sulfoxides are very loosely bound to the carbon.
Ester sehr viel wirksamer.O, O-dialkylthiophosphoric acid, which is easily accessible in this way
- S - alkylsulfoxylethyl esters are valuable insecticides that are used as new pesticides
Should be used. Compared to the German patent 876 691
known thiophosphoric acid esters that have a sulfonyl group in the ester residue
a sulfoxyl group are those obtained by the present method
Ester much more effective.
Theorie) des Sulfoxylesters als blaßgelhes, wasserlösliches Öl.The following examples give an overview of the claimed method. 35 g (0.2 mol) of ammonium salt of O, O-dimethylthiolthionophosphoric acid (mp 147 °) are suspended in 75 cc of methyl ethyl ketone and 39.5 g (0.25 mol) of ß-ethylsulfoxylethyl bromide are added. After a short time, the ammonium salt of O, O-dimethylthiolt: ionophosphoric acid dissolves, and at the same time ammonium bromide precipitates as a heavy crystal powder without any noticeable rise in temperature. The mixture is stirred overnight, the ammonium bromide is filtered off with suction and the solvent is distilled off. The remaining oil is taken up in benzene and washed repeatedly with water. After drying over sodium sulfate, after distilling off the solvent, 32 g of O, O-dimethyl-S- (ethyl-sulfoxyl-5-thyl) -thiolthionophosphate are obtained as an amber-yellow, slightly water-soluble oil. The yield is 61% of theory. A solution from. 56 g (0.3 mol) of the ammonium salt of O, O-diethylthiolphosphoric acid and 58 g (0.315 mol) of ß-ethylsulfoxylethyl bromide in 100 cc of methyl ethyl ketone is heated to 70 to 75 ° for 30 minutes. After cooling down, you suck. from the precipitated ammonium bromide and the solvent is distilled off in vacuo. The remaining oil is dissolved in about 2.50 ccm of water. The sulfoxyl ester is salted out by adding a saturated potash solution. The ester is taken up in chlorobenzene, separated off and dried over sodium sulfate. By vacuum distillation at o, oi mm are obtained 75 9 (91.4%) of the Sulfoxylesters as a überdestillierendes at io8 ° amber colored, water-soluble oil. 56 g of β-ethylsulfoxylethyl bromide are added dropwise to 65 g of the ammonium salt of O, O-diethylthiolthionophosphoric acid with stirring at 50 to 60 °. After heating to 60 ° for 1/2 hour, water is added after cooling and the oil which has precipitated is taken up in methylene chloride. The methylene chloride layer is washed with water. After drying over sodium sulphate and removing the solvent, 65 g of the sulphoxyl ester are obtained as a pale yellowish, practically water-insoluble oil, which distills at 0.01 mm at 100 ° without significant decomposition. The yield is 78.5% of theory. 43 g (0.2 mol) of the ammonium salt of O, O-di-n-propylthiolphosphoric acid and 39.5 g of ß-ethylsulfoxylethyl bromide are dissolved in 75 cc of methyl ethyl ketone. Without a significant increase in temperature, it begins to. about 30 minutes to excrete ammonium broinide. After 1 hour of heating to 50 to 60 °, the ammonium bromide is filtered off with suction and, after the work-up described in the previous examples, 50 g of the sulfoxyl ester is obtained as a yellow, water-soluble oil. Yield: 82.70 / 0. 46 g (0.2 mol) of the ammonium salt of O, O-di-n-propylthiolthionophosphoric acid (melting point 151 to 152 °) and 39.5 g (0.25 mol) of β-ethylsulfoxylethyl bromide are dissolved in 75 cc of acetone for 4 hours stirred at room temperature. Ammonium bromide is precipitated when heated slightly. After the work-up described in the preceding examples, 51 g (= 80.50 / 0) of the sulfoxyl ester are obtained as a yellow-brownish oil. [O, O-Diisopropyl-S- (ethyl-sulfoxyl-ethyl) -thiolthionophosphate] 46 g (0.2 mol) of the ammonium salt of O, O-diisopropylthiolthionophosphoric acid (melting point 166 °) and 39.5 g (0.25 mole) Mol) ß-Äthylsulfoxyläthylbromid are suspended in 75 ccm of methyl ethyl ketone. With slow heating to about 35 °, ammonium bromide is gradually precipitated. To complete the reaction, the mixture is stirred overnight at room temperature and the ammonium bromide is then filtered off with suction. After distilling off the solvent, taking the behind lasting 01 on in benzene, washed with water and dried over sodium sulfate. Customary work-up gives so g (= 78.5% of theory) of the sulfoxyl ester as a pale yellow, water-soluble oil.
