Description

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Einrichtung zum Pressen der Elektrodeneinführungen an Lampen, welche Einrichtung zwei relativ zueinander bewegliche Backen aufweist, welche an eine Zufuhrleitung für ein Brenngas angeschlossen sind. Derartige Einrichtungen sind an sich bekannt. Sie weisen Austrittsöffnungen für das Brenngas auf, die so ausgebildet sind, daß die Brenngasstrahlen in der Bewegungsrichtung der Backen verlaufen. Dies ίο hat zur Folge, daß gerade diejenigen Stellen der einschmelzenden Lampen, die am wenigsten deformiert werden, am stärksten erhitzt werden, während diejenigen Stellen, die stärker deformiert werden, weniger stark erhitzt werden. Um diesen Nachteil zu vermeiden, ist die erfindungsgemäße Einrichtung derart ausgebildet, daß die Austrittsöff-. nungen für das Brenngas in solchen einander gegenüberliegenden Backenflächen angeordnet sind, daß die austretenden Gasstrahlen quer zur Bewegungsrichtung der Backen verlaufen.The subject of the invention is a device for pressing the electrode entries on lamps, which device has two jaws which are movable relative to one another and which are attached to a supply line for a fuel gas are connected. Die Einrichtung zum Pressen der Elektrodeneinführungen umfaßt Preßbacken,, von welchen einer in den Fig. 1 und 2 dargestellt ist, während die Fig. 3 zusammenwirkende Backen in der Arbeitsstellung zeigt. Jede Backe 1, 2 ist an eine Zufuhrleitung 3 für ein Brenngas angeschlossen. Diese Leitung führt zu einer im Innern der Backe befindlichen Kammer 4, welche über Austrittsöffnungen 5 mit der Außenatmosphäre in Verbindung steht. An jede Backe ist im weiteren eine Zufuhrleitung 6 für Kühlflüssigkeit und eine Ableitung 7 . für die letztere angeschlossen. Wie ersichtlich, sind die Austrittsöffnungen 5 im Sinne der vorliegenden Erfindung derart an einander gegenüberliegenden Backenflächen angeordnet, daß die austretenden Gasstrahlen quer zu der in Fig. 3 durch Pfeile angedeuteten Bewegungsrichtung der Backen 1, 2 verlaufen.
