Es sind Hängemappen für Hängeregistraturen bekannt, die aus einer blatt- bzw. kartonartigen Unterlage bestehen, die verhältnismäßig stabil ist und nicht leicht einreißt. Diese Unterlage ist mittig gefaltet und weist an ihren der Faltung abgewandten Enden jeweils eine Einhängeschiene auf, die mit der Unterlage insbesondere lösbar verbunden ist. Dabei sind diese Enden der Unterlage so ausgebildet, daß die Einhängeschienen eingeschoben werden können. Die Hängemappe kann an ihren Seiten entweder offen ausgebildet oder mit einer Falz versehen sein. Als Nachteil einer derartigen Hängemappe wird es vielfach angesehen, daß dieselbe nur in einer sogenannten Hängeregistratur verwendbar ist.
