Claims (8)
- Suspension file consisting of a generally rectangular blank of cardboard or plastics material folded in a V-shape to form a pocket and having suspension rails arranged at the upper free edges, the suspension rails being formed by folds of the upper and lower free edge regions of the blank, characterised in that the blank (10) has an upper and a lower edge (18, 20) for forming the upper free edges, two side edges (22, 24) and at least one central fold line (26) arranged between and parallel to the upper and lower edge (18, 20) are provided, a first fold line (28) arranged at a distance "x" from the upper and lower edge (18, 20) and parallel thereto is provided, a second fold line (30) arranged spaced from the first fold line (28) at approximately the same distance "x" and parallel thereto is provided, and a third fold line (32) arranged at a smaller distance from and parallel to the second fold line (30) is provided, wherein the upper and lower edge regions (16) having the fold lines (28, 30, 32) project beyond the side edges (22, 24) and, in their respective end regions (34) projecting beyond the side edges (22, 24), have punched openings (36) for forming suspension grooves and at least one fastening device (38), arranged in the respective edge region (16), for fixing the upper and lower edge regions (16) which have been folded about the first, second and third fold line (28, 30, 32) to form a suspension rail (12).
- Suspension file according to claim 1, characterised in that the fastening device (38) consists of a tongue (42) that can be brought into engagement with a slot (40).
- Suspension file according to either claim 1 or claim 2, characterised in that the fastening device consists of tongues (42) that have been punched out at the first fold line (28), which tongues (42) can be welded or adhesively bonded to the blank (10).
- Suspension file according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that circular punched openings (50) for receiving labelling tabs are arranged in the region between the second fold line (30) and the third fold line (32).
- Suspension file according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that retaining devices (54) for closing the side regions of the suspension file are formed at the side edges (22, 24).
- Suspension file according to claim 5, characterised in that the retaining devices (54) are formed in the region of the at least one central fold line (26).
- Suspension file according to claim 4 or 5, characterised in that the retaining devices (54) each consist of a circle segment (56) having a central angle of > 180°, the side edge (22) intersecting the circle segment (56) at approximately 180° and being formed as a fold line (60) between the central fold lines (26) and at the edge region to form insertion tongues (58), the portions (62) of the circle segment extending beyond 180° are joined to the blank (10) by means of a further fold line (64), parallel to and spaced from the further fold line (64) the blank (10) has insertion slots (66) for the circle segment portions (62), and locking slots (68) for the insertion tongues (58) are provided in the central fold lines (26).
- Suspension file according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the blank (10) consists of a one-piece plastics film, the top side of which is coated with a different colour from that of the underside.
