Ebenso ist es möglich, jeweils zwei Rahmenprofilteile, die an ihren Seiten mit der hinterschnittenen Nut oder der T-förmigen Nut aneinanderliegen, durch ein I-förmiges Leistenstück miteinander zu verbinden, wobei die I-förmige Leiste in den durch die beidseitige T-förmige Nut geschnittenen Kanal jeweils eingeführt wird. Auf diese Weise lassen sich ohne große Schwierigkeiten beliebige Ensemble-Zusammenstellungen von Rahmen als Bildträger ausbilden, und zwar entweder zu einer großflächigen Gestaltung eines Gesamtbildes aus vielen Einzelbildern bzw. Claims

Protection claims:

1. Frame profile strip with a groove or U-shaped recess (16) for introducing and holding any object (17,28), in particular for forming a frame (22) consisting of four frame profile strips (10,11), each of which is mitred at its end and connected to one another, for holding a picture or other rectangular support (17,28), characterized in that the frame profile strip (10,11) has an undercut groove (19,20,21), preferably a T-shaped groove, on at least one further side.

2. Frame profile strip according to claim 1, characterized in that the T-shaped groove (19, 20, 21) is arranged opposite the groove or the U-shaped retaining profile (16).

3. Frame profile strip according to claim 1 or 2, characterized by at least one further T-groove (20, 21) arranged on a lateral connecting leg between the undercut groove or T-shaped groove (19) and the groove or the U-shaped retaining profile (16).

4. Frame profile strip according to claim 3, characterized in that two further T-shaped grooves (20, 21) arranged on the lateral connecting legs are provided.

5. Frame profile strip according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the frame profile has an internal cavity, wherein preferably the respective

respective groove bottoms (19', 2C', 21') delimit part of the frame profile cavity.

6. Frame profile strip according to claim 5, characterized in that the cavity of the frame profile strip (10; 11) serves to accommodate a lighting means (14).

7. Frame profile strip according to one of claims 6 or 7, characterized in that at least one of the groove bottoms (19', 20 ⁷ , 21') for object holding or the base of the bottom (16') of the U-shaped holding profile (16) and/or further frame parts have window-like openings or are completely or partially translucent.

8. Frame porofill strip according to claim 7, characterized in that the translucent parts (18) in the groove bottoms (19', 20', 21') or in the bottom (16') have a color-selective and/or light-scattering or light-bundling effect.

9. Frame profile strip according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that each of the T-shaped grooves (19, 20, 21) has an identical cross-section and/or the frame profile strip (10; 11) is axially symmetrical in cross-section.

10. Frame profile strip according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the frame profile strips (10, 11) are connected to one another by means of a screwed-on angle piece at their mitred ends.

Frame profile strip according to one of claims 1 to 12, characterized in that several frame profile strips (10, 11) or frames formed from frame profile strips (22, 27) are detachably connected via connecting means (23) which each engage in one of the T-shaped grooves (19) of two frame profile strips (10, 11).

14. Frame profile strip according to claim 13, characterized in that the connecting means (23) engages in the respective T-shaped groove (19) of a frame profile strip (10, 11) via ribs (24) with a T-shaped cross section.

15. Frame profile strip according to claim 13 or 14, characterized in that the connecting means (23) is a hollow profile and/or has T-shaped ribs (24) and/or T-shaped grooves (25) on opposite sides in cross section.

16. Frame profile strip according to one of claims 13 to 15, characterized in that the connecting means (23) has essentially the same outer contours as the frame profile strip (10, 11) connected thereto.

17. Frame profile strip according to one of claims 1 to 16,

characterized in that all parts (10,11,23) consist of light metal, in particular aluminum.

18. Frame profile strip according to one of claims 1 to 17, characterized in that the frame profile strips (10, 11) and/or the connecting profile strip (23) have a square cross-sectional profile.

19. Frame profile strip according to one of claims 1 to 17, characterized in that the frame profile strips (10, 11) and/or the connecting profile strip (23) have a polygonal, e.g. hexagonal, octagonal or similar, cross-sectional profile.

20. Frame profile strip according to one of claims 1 to 19, characterized in that in the area of the connecting elements (24, 19) of the frame profile strips (10, 11) and the connecting profile strip (23) there are formed a semicircular depression, groove-shaped grooves or notches (24a, 19a) which, when the T-shaped rib (24) of the connecting profile strip (23) is inserted into the T-shaped groove (19) of the frame profile strips (10, 11), form an insertion opening (30) for a pin, threaded grub screw or the like with a circular cross-sectional profile (30).

21. Frame profile strip according to claim 20, characterized in that the semicircular recess (24a) is formed on the head or the front side of the T-shaped rib (24) and the semicircular recess (19a) is formed on the inner wall surface (19b) of the frame profile strip (10;ll).

22. Frame profile strip according to one of claims 20 and 21,

characterized in that the frame profile strip (10; 11) in the area of the holding profile opening (16a) of the U-shaped holding profile (16) receiving the display (17) has a thin-walled, removable closure band (40) made of the frame profile strip material, which closes the holding profile opening (16a) to the interior of the frame profile strip (10; 11).

22, characterized in that the two legs (16b, 16c) of the U-shaped holding profile (16) for receiving the display (17) are extended with leg sections (lob', 16c') into the interior of the frame profile strip (10; 11) and that the detachable fastening band (40) is held on the leg sections (lob', 16c') of the U-shaped holding profile (16) expediently via separating webs (40a, 40b).

23, characterized in that the closure band (40) is attached to the free ends of the extended leg sections (16b', 16c') of the U-shaped holding profile (16).
