Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verpackung für Weihnachtsbäume. Regelmäßig entstehen nach der Weihnachtszeit Probleme beim Entsorgen gebrauchter Weihnachtsbäume, weil diese nicht nur beim Abnehmen des Weihnachtsbaumschmucks, sondern auch beim Transport insbesondere im Wohnbereich nadeln. Die dargestellte Verpackung besteht aus einem Behälter 1 aus Pappe mit kreisförmigem Grundriß. Der Behälter 1 weist eine Außenwandung 2 und im Boden 3 eine mittige Öffnung 4 auf, von deren Öffnungsrand eine Innenwandung 5 ausgeht, die etwa die gleiche Höhe wie die Außenwandung 2 aufweist. Im Ringraum zwischen Außenwandung 2 und Innenwandung 5 ist ein Folienschlauch 6 gespeichert, der bei der dargestellten Ausführung zu einem Ringwulst aufgerollt ist.
