Description

The invention relates to a flower container with a funnel-shaped top and to a set for assembling a flower container.

The DE 1899376 U1 discloses a flower packaging cover made of a transparent film, in which a container with a water-soaked filler for inserting plant roots or plant stems is arranged.

Furthermore, it shows US 2006/0283077 A1 a cut flower package comprising an elongated body having a closed base and a top portion having an open top, the top portion extending from the base. The base serves as a reservoir for water and its flat bottom allows the packaging to be set up. Strips made of a flexible material are arranged as handles on the upper section. When the device is used as intended, it is filled with water and flowers. The cut surfaces of the flowers are in one package during transport existing water reservoir positioned and the upper section of the device holds the stem, leaf and petal parts of the flowers.

The DE 21 00 448 A1 discloses a flower container with a substantially square cross section, a bottom part serving to accommodate a water-absorbing body and the flowers being arranged in a top part. The flower container can be detachably assembled from two half-shells.

The invention is based on the object of creating a flower container of the type mentioned at the beginning, which enables both the protected transport of a bouquet of flowers and its presentation and which can also be made from an environmentally friendly material.

According to the invention the object is achieved by the features of independent claims 1 and 2.

The subclaims represent advantageous embodiments of the invention.

A flower container comprises a lower part having a square base area, which is used to absorb water or a moisture-absorbing material, to which a funnel-shaped upper part, which widens to a free end and encloses plant parts, is detachably connected, the upper part having a square cross section and at least has detachable plug connections or an adhesive connection on two long sides.

In a first embodiment, according to the invention: The lower part has extension surfaces between two adjacent legs forming side walls, which can be folded into the interior of the lower part when the blank is folded into a useful shape.

In a second embodiment, according to the invention, the lower part is cross-shaped in its development and the opposite legs are delimited from a base area forming the base by means of folding embossing, the legs having plug-in means for mutual releasable fastening and for releasable arrangement on the upper part. The lower part has a flat base and, with appropriate design or filling, can shift the center of gravity downwards overall, so that the flower container has a relatively secure stand. The present design makes it possible to produce the lower part as a flat blank from a sheet-shaped material, for example cardboard or the like, and for its intended use the blank is folded and put together accordingly.

A cut flower or an entire bouquet of flowers, which also represent parts of plants in the context of the invention, are protected in the flower container, whereby the flower container can, for example, be dimensioned such that the flowers in the wide area at the free end of the upper part and cut ends of the flowers are arranged in the lower part or the flowers protrude from the upper part. The bouquet of flowers can be tied and placed in the initially open flower container, which can then be closed using the plug-in connections or the at least one adhesive connection. However, it is also possible to insert the bouquet into the already closed flower container, which is relatively easy to do due to the funnel shape or pyramid shape of the flower container. After the flowers are enclosed by the upper part, the lower part filled with water or equipped with a moist material can be connected to the upper part, after which the cut surfaces are either in the water or in the material, which can be a kind of sponge, for example. The upper part and the lower part can be connected to one another using plug or adhesive connections or a holder for the upper part fixes the lower part to the upper part.

In particular, the upper part can be made from a relatively stable paper material or cardboard. The upper part can be designed as a flat blank and brought into shape by appropriate folding or bending. The flower container therefore represents an easy-to-handle, reusable and recyclable flower packaging. Of course, the upper part and/or the lower part can be made of a relatively stable and water-resistant paper material.

The square cross section of the upper part can of course be parallelogram-shaped, rectangular or square.

The upper part preferably comprises a front part, a back part and two side parts, the front part and the back part having a triangular shape and the two side parts each having side edges that run parallel to one another, the side edges merging into a trapezoidal end section at the end facing the lower part. In this variant, the upper part is composed of a total of four individual parts, whereby the advantage and the back part can be identical and the two side parts can be identical. Alternatively, a single blank can include the front part, the back part and the two side parts, the geometry of which is essentially defined by fold embossing.

The front part and/or the back part and/or the two side parts expediently have plug-in means for the detachable plug-in connections. The plug-in means can, for example, comprise a type of barb that makes it difficult to loosen the plug-in connections or can be hooked into one another or folded after a plug-in process in such a way that it is difficult to loosen the plug-in connections. Of course, the plug-in means can also be designed in such a way that they are both easy to join and easy to separate. It is possible to provide all individual parts with plug-in means in order to assemble the upper part of the flower container, for example from two or four individual parts, or to simply provide plug-in means in order to fold the one-piece upper part Condition, i.e. in the position of use, to form the defined cross section and to protect the bouquet of flowers.

In one embodiment, the front part or the back part is connected to two side parts, with folding embossments delimiting the front part or the back part from the side parts and the side parts having plug-in means which interact with plug-in means of the front part or the back part for the detachable plug-in connections. In this embodiment, the upper part is composed of two individual parts, with the shape of the upper part, in particular the square cross-section, being produced by folding the side parts accordingly along the fold embossings. The funnel shape and the plug-in means are obtained by cutting or punching out a sheet-shaped material. The folding embossments are, for example, line-shaped cross-sectional weakenings that make the folding process easier for a user of the flower container.

In a further embodiment, the front part and the back part are each connected to a side part, with a folding embossing delimiting the front part and the back part from the respective side part and the side parts having the plug-in means for the detachable plug-in connections. The flower container is therefore made up of two individual parts that can be designed identically.

The lower part can expediently be attached to the upper part by means of plug-in means in a plane in which the side edges of the side parts merge into the trapezoidal section at the end.

The plug-in means are preferably designed as plug-in tabs and corresponding plug-in openings. When folding, the plug-in tabs can be easily inserted into the plug-in openings with corresponding cross-sections. It is also possible to bend the free end of the plug-in tab inserted into the plug-in opening, so that the plug-in tab is fastened relatively reliably.

In order to prevent water or moisture from escaping from the flower container or the lower part from soaking, at least the lower part is preferably impermeable to water on the inside coated. If the coating can be easily removed from the carrier material, the flower container can be disposed of and recycled after use.

In a further embodiment, the rear part has an attachment surface that extends over the front part and the two side parts. If the bouquet of flowers is completely in the flower container, then the attachment surface can be folded, in particular by 90°, so that it forms a lid of the flower container.

The flower container 1 comprises a front part 2, two identical side parts 3, a back part 4 and a lower part 5. The front part 2 has a substantially trapezoidal geometry, with the shorter base side 6 forming a bottom side and the longer base side 7 running parallel to it forming a top side . Parallel to the shorter base 6, a plug-in means 9 designed as a plug-in opening 8 is provided, in the extension of which on both sides a folded embossing 11 that weakens the cross-section can be provided. Of course, a plug connection of the side part 3 to the back part 4 using the longitudinal tab 32, which is inserted into a corresponding slot on the back part 4, is also possible.

Of course, the flower container 1 can be designed in any color and/or provided with prints and/or decorative elements, for example bows or the like.

Claims (13)
