Die vorliegende Vorrichtung dient zum Abschuppen von Fischen und ist derart eingerichtet, dafs einerseits das Abschuppen des Fisches leicht und schnell bewerkstelligt werden kann, andererseits die Fischschuppen in einen an der Vorrichtung angebrachten Behälter fallen, so dafs eine Verunreinigung anderer Gegenstände durch die besagte Vorrichtung möglichst vermieden ist.The present device is used for flaking fish and is set up in such a way that that on the one hand the flaking off of the fish can be accomplished easily and quickly can, on the other hand, the fish scales fall into a container attached to the device, so that contamination of other objects by the said device is possible is avoided.

Die Abschuppvorrichtung besteht aus einem Handgriff A, welcher mit einer Verstärkung a bezw. Flantsch c² versehen ist. An diesem Flantsch ist eine Platte c befestigt, welche die eine Abschlufswand einer aus dem Mantel und der zweiten Endplatte H zusammengefügten Kammer D bildet. Diese Kammer ist an ihrer einen Breitseite bei d der Länge nach offen und wird diese Oeffnung d von dem Schaboder Schuppmesser B überdeckt. Dieses Messer ist oberhalb mit einem der Länge nach laufenden Rundstab a² versehen, welcher in die aus der oberen Mantellängskante F gebildete Führungshülse <f² eingeschoben werden kann, derart, dafs die untere gezahnte Schneidkante E des Schabmessers B 'etwas die untere Mantellängskante von H übergreift,^ jedoch von ihr ein wenig absteht (Fig. 4). Der Flantsch c² bildet hierbei einen Anschlag für das eingeschobene Messer B. Bei Gebrauch legt man die Vorrichtung mit dem Messer B gegen die abzuschuppende Fischhaut und fährt entgegen der Schneidkante E über die Schuppen, welche dadurch abgelöst und in die Kammer D befördert werden. Ist diese gefüllt, so zieht man das Messer aus seiner Führung d² und reinigt bezw. entleert die mit Schuppen gefüllte Kammer D.
