Description

Bekannte Elektrodenanordnungen dieser Art sind so ausgestaltet, daß vier große Ableitelektroden in Kunststoffmaterial, das auch zum Herstellen von Zahnspangen verwendet wird, eingelassen sind. Probanden bzw. Patienten mit kleinem Mund können diese Anordnung nicht in die Mundhöhle nehmen. Weiterhin muß die Zunge gegen die Anordnung gedrückt werden, um überhaupt Kontakt mit den in der Konvexität befindlichen Elektroden zu ermöglichen. Dies ist bei Patienten mit Hypoglossuslähmung oder Muskelschwäche nicht möglich. Außerdem bekommen manche Patienten einen Brechreiz, so daß überhaupt keine Messung möglich ist. Zusätzlich bestehen Probleme bei der Sterilisation nach Anwendung bei Patienten mit infektiösen Erkrankungen. Die bisherige Anordnung muß wegen der hohen Herstellungskosten mehrfach verwendet werden, was hygienische Probleme mit sich bringt.Known electrode arrangements of this type are designed in such a way that four large recording electrodes are embedded in plastic material, which is also used to make braces. Diese Aufgaben werden erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß die Elektodenhalterung möglichst klein, trotzdem der Abstand der Elektroden voneinander möglichst groß ist und daß die Elektroden flexibel angebracht werden können (Fig. 1), wobei die schlundwärts weisenden Elektroden (Fig. 2) stabil oder mit leichter Spannung gegen die Zunge installiert, die in Richtung Mundöffhung zeigenden Elektroden (Fig. 3) flexibel sein und mit der mit einem Handschuh versehenen Hand des Untersuchers gut um die Zunge zwischen den Muskel und die Schneidezahnreihe gelegt werden können.
