Die Erfindung betrifft eine Hilfsvorrichtung für Kaffeemaschinen. The invention relates to an auxiliary device for coffee machines.

Kaffeemaschinen weisen einen Filterbehälter auf, in den eine Filtertüte eingelegt und sodann mit gemahlenem Kaffee mehr oder weniger gefüllt wird. Die Extraktion der typischen Kaffeestoffe beschränkt sich also auf den zentralen Teil des Kaffeemehls. Die erfindungsgemäße Hilfsvorrichtung weist einen Körper 1 auf, der vorzugsweise im Spritzgießverfahren aus Kunststoff hergestellt ist. Er besitzt eine obere Fläche 2 und eine untere Fläche 3. Aus der oberen Fläche 2 springt ein Steg 4 vor, der um den Rand des Körpers 1 umläuft. Wie aus Fig. 2 ersichtlich, entsteht dadurch ein flacher, tellerförmiger Behälter, in den von oben das kochende, in den Filter zu leitende Wasser eintritt. Eine Mehrzahl von Durchtrittsöffnungen 5 sorgt dafür, daß das Wasser gleichmäßig in die unterhalb des Körpers 1 befindliche Schüttung aus gemahlenem Kaffee gelangt. Das Kaffeemehl kann also nicht mehr zum Rand der Filtertüte hin aufgeschwämmt und dadurch dem Extraktionsvorgang entzogen werden.
