Für das Binden und Entsorgen von auslaufenden Ölen und Kraft - · Stoffen werden bisher hauptsächlich Ölbinder auf Granulatbasis \ J
verwendet. Aus den USA und Frankreich sind Ölbindevliesstoffe .· auf Spinnvliesbasis bekannt, die jedoch nur eine begrenzte Reißfestigkeit aufweisen. Auch die Variationsmöglichkeiten bei der Aufnahme von Flüssigkeiten unterschiedlicher Viskosität ist begrenzt.
Durch den Gegenstand gelöste Aufgabe :
Durch unterschiedliche Faserfeinheiten können Flüssigkeiten in einem breiten Viskositätsspektrum absorbiert werden. Durch die extrem hohe Festigkeit des nachstehend beschriebenen Produkts ist eine bisher übliche Verstärkung mit Seilen, Netzen oder das Einnähen in Matten überflüssig.
Beschreibung der technischen Wirkung ;
Das anzumeldende Oelbindevlies ist ein Reinfaserprodukt aus z.T. silikonisierten Polypropylen - Stapelfasern. Entsprechend der Zeichnung (1) werden in den von der Krempel (K) kommenden Krempelflor (Fl) Polypropylen - Endloskabel (PP a) eingearbeitet. Am Kreuzleger (Kz) werden ebenfalls Polypropylen - Endloskabel (PP b) in das kreuzgelegte Vlies eingearbeitet und es entsteht ein homogener Verbund von hoher Festigkeit. Da das silikoni sierte Polypropylen hydrophob ist, schwimmt das Oelbindevlies auf dem Wasser und kann nach Aufsaugen eines Öl- oder Kraftstoff films problemlos wieder entnommen werden. Die Verfestigung des Faserverbund entsprechend der Zeichnung (2) erfolgt rein mechanisch durch Vernadelung mit Filznadeln(N),so daß das Produkt voll recyclingfähig ist. Durch Verwendung eines sehr niedrigen Titers steht pro Kubik-Zentimeter eine hohe Faseroberfläche für den Flüssigkeits transport zur Verfügung. Andererseits sind die entstehenden Hohlräume und Kappilare so fein, daß Öl leichter als Wasser eingesaugt wird (unterschiedliche Oberflächenspannung).

Polypropylen ist von sich aus hydrophob, so daß die Faser selbst kein Wasser aufnimmt. Da Polypropylen andererseits durch seine Molekülstruktur den Grundstrukturen der Öle und Ölderivate ähnlich ist, macht sich das Oelbindevlies den Effekt zunutze, daß alle chemisch verwandten Produkte das Bestreben haben, sich zu mischen. (z.B. Alkohol und Wasser, Öl und Fett, etc.)

Durch die hohe Eigenfestigkeit des Faserverbunds entfällt die Notwendigkeit mit Verstärkungsseilen, Netzen oder ähnlichem zu arbeiten, auch wenn das Produkt z.B. über Flüsse, Hafen becken o.a. gespannt wird. Die Verfestigung im Nadelfilzver fahren ermöglicht gegenüber Spinnvliesstoffen die Kombination von mehreren Lagen Fasern mit unterschiedlichen Titern ( = Faserfeinheiten ). Dadurch wird die Aufnahme von Ölen, Kraftstoffen und Chemikalien aus Ölderivaten mit unterschiedlichsten Viskositäten möglich.

1. einen im Nadelvliesverfahren hergestellten Verbund von Polypropylenstapelfasern unterschiedlicher Feinheiten.
2. die Einarbeitung von Polypropylen - Endloskabel (=Filament) in den Krempelflor zur Erhöhung der Reißfestigkeit vor dem Kreuzlegen des Vlieses.
3. die Einarbeitung von Polypropylen - Endloskabel (=Filament) in das bereits kreuzgelegte Vlies zur Erhöhung der Reiß festigkeit vor der Vernadelung des Faserverbunds.
