Der Verwendungszweck ist ein vielseitiger, z. B. für jede Art von Besohlung von Schuhwerk. Die Auswalzung auf Gewebeuntergrund jeglicher Art sowie Filz u. dgl. ergibt einen Fußboden- und Treppenbelag. In Plattenform ist deren Verwendung ebenfalls vielseitig, z. B. für Besohlzwecke, Aktentaschen, Koffer, Riemen und vieles andere.
