Description
The invention relates to a wooden floor bar with profiled abutting sides, which is especially intended for so-called small parquet. Usually will be the small parquet strips combined into panels and then on a bituminous adhesive relocated. The individual bars of such a plate have been glued or glued together united by special connecting links. You also have one such a direct connection is dispensed with, the rods butt jointed and in front the laying only by glued on paper or fabric, which is after the laying is to be removed again, or by a glued under carrier, z. B. from roofing felt, which remains as insulation under the floor, held together.
The object of the invention is to provide a rod floor, in particular a Small parquet to create, in which the individual strips against loosening from the association are secured without the need for special gluing. With normal bar floor it is common to connect the rods with one another by tongue and groove. This connection is relatively cumbersome and uses a relatively large amount of wood. This works are particularly disadvantageous for small parquet. A tongue and groove connection is here also inappropriate in view of the usually small rod thickness because the floor becomes unusable after a few millimeters of wear would.
According to the invention, these disadvantages are eliminated in that each floor bar is concave on one long side and on the opposite side is profiled accordingly convex. So the bars clamp together similarly to a tongue and groove connection with each other, while the bottom is almost complete Wear and tear can be committed. In general, you will also use the end faces the same profile, especially if a checkerboard pattern is intended. In order to improve the adhesion of the rods in the adhesive, it is advisable to use the To provide the underside in a known manner with a tooth profile.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. FIG. Z shows a small parquet strip in a diagrammatic representation, FIG a partial plan view of a floor formed with such bars and FIG. 3 shows a natural size section through this floor.
The small parquet strips are best made of hardwood, as usual, about 150 mm long, 25 mm wide and 12 mm thick. A radius of 15 mm is recommended for the profile curvature. To facilitate laying you can already in the workshop, as is known per se, by gluing z. B. 6 rods on paper to form square plates.
A parquet according to the invention is cheaper than normal parquet and still has the same service life as this.
