Die Platten 10 bestehen aus Polystyrol-Partikel-Hartschaumstoff. Sie sind mit einer copolymeren Dispersion aus Vinylaceteat und einem Acrylsäureester (50 % bis 65 %, vorzugsweise ca. 60 % in Wasser) beschichtet. Eine solche Dispersion wird von der Hoechst AG, Frankfurt, unter den Marken Mowilith DM 4 5 und Mowilith LDM 5660 als Basismaterial für die Herstellung von Kunstharzklebern vertrieben. Die Kleberschichten 12 sind mit einer davon abziehbaren Kunststoffolie 14 bzw. einem zwischengelegten Blatt Silikonpapier 16 abgedeckt.The panels 10 consist of polystyrene particle rigid foam.
