Der neuerungsgemäße Tortenring ist besonders für im Haushalt herzustellende Quark-Sahne- und Obsttorten mit Guß geeignet. Derartige Tortenringe sind aus Metall und Kunsttoff bekannt. Nachteilig ist bei diesen Tortenringen, daß sie entweder durch Führungs- und Feststellklammern oder eine am Ende des Tortenringes gestanzte Durchziehlasche oder durch eine, die Ringbildung anstrebende Eigenspannung um den vorgebackenen Tortenboden angebracht und arretiert werden müssen. Das Ringende ist nicht frei greifbar. Es ist nur eine sehr umständliehe öffnung des Tortenringes möglich ist oder der Tortenring muß in geschlossenem Zustand nach oben abgezogen werden.The new cake ring is particularly suitable for quark, cream and fruit cakes with icing that are made at home. Der vorliegenden Neuerung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Tortenring zu schaffen, der in einfachster Weise nach dem Erkalten der Quark-Sahne-Masse oder des Tortengusses geöffnet werden kann. Diese Aufgabe wird neuerungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß der Tortenring aus einem Kunststoff ohne Eigenspannung figürlich gestanzt wird. Das beim Gebrauch durch die Haltelasche geführte und außen liegende Ringende steht im spitzen Winkel von der Torte ab. Der in den Figuren aufgezeigte Tortenring 10 ist ein aus spannungsfreiem Kunststoff hergestelltes flaches Stanzformteil. Die Oberkante 13 des Tortenringes ist im Bereich von 16 -30 cm Durchmesser (im geschlossenen Zustand) wellenförmig gestanzt.
