1.1. Purpose of the invention

This invention is intended to enable every student to independently construct and break down given words by synthesizing and analyzing the letters or spoken sounds contained therein and to store the word images in their memory and make them available by repeating the reading exercises, thereby simplifying and promoting the secure mastery of reading and spelling.

1.2. State of the art

Magnetic work materials have been available in some versions for some time as learning aids to help children master the reading learning process. They are plate elements that stick to a work surface and can be arranged in any way.

1.3. Criticism of the state of the art

With the learning aids mentioned under 1.2, the plate elements only stick to one side of the work surface and the letters are only applied to one side. Therefore, you need one plate for each capital letter and one for each lowercase letter. Therefore, with these learning aids, the surface of the plate to which the elements stick is not sufficient to arrange and build the plates into words. It is therefore necessary to transfer the plates to a second plate and build them into words or sentences.

This means that the student has access to any letter he needs at any time and can use uppercase or lowercase letters as needed by turning the tiles over.

1.5. Special advantage of the solution

The use of the reversible plates makes it possible to provide so many letters on a work surface that is handy and can also fit in a school bag (approx. 230 x 340) that the student can build several words and even whole sentences at the same time.

A particular advantage is that the board serves as a letter magazine and a work surface at the same time. The student no longer needs to take the tiles from one board and place them on a second board. Since with this learning aid he only has to move the tiles on one board, much smaller and thinner tiles can also be used.

In addition, you only need half as many tiles for the same ^number of letters.

1.6. Description of the invention

Figure 1 shows the worktop (item 1) and several reversible plates (item 2) that are stuck to the lower part of the worktop in alphabetical order in rows according to the print on the worktop (item 3).
