Um die am Schlufs - der deutschen Patentschrift Nr. 6117 5 angegebene erste Abart der federnden Verschlufskapsel anzuwenden, bei welcher an Stelle mehrerer Zacken ein Bügel mit nur zwei Zacken tritt, ist es wünschenswerth, dem Deckel eine eigenartige Form zu geben. Es mufste nämlich das Glas, um die in der genannten Patentschrift angegebene Kapsel mit vielen Zacken oder den Bügel mit zwei Zacken anwenden zu können, die konische Fläche a (Fig. 1) besitzen, an welcher die Zacken heruntergleiten, ebenso die Kante b, unter welche die Zacken fassen. Dieser Theil des Glases ist stets am dünnsten, es liegt das in der Fabrikationsweise der Gläser, und es liegt die Gefahr nahe, dafs beim Verpacken der Gläser durch den leisesten Anstofs gegen diesen schwachen Theil der Gläser Sprünge entstehen und die Gläser unbrauchbar werden. Ebenso ist es leicht möglich, dafs bei Anwendung des Bügels mit zwei Zacken und einer vollen Scheibe (Fig. 1) durch einen Unberufenen zwischen Glas und Gummiring ein spitzer Gegenstand, Stecknadel etc., geschoben und so Luft in das Glas eingelassen werden und der Inhalt des Glases zum Verderben gebracht werden kann. Es ist dies ein aufserordentlicher Nachtheil.In order to use the first variant of the resilient closure capsule specified at the end of German patent specification No. 6117 5, in which a bracket with only two prongs takes the place of several prongs, it is desirable to give the lid a peculiar shape. It is also easily possible, when using the handle with two prongs and a full disk (Fig. 1), that a sharp object, pin, etc., is pushed by an unauthorized person between the glass and the rubber ring, thus letting air and the contents into the glass the glass can be spoiled. This is a serious disadvantage.

Hierdurch wird erreicht, dafs beim Zusammenstofsen zweier Gefäfse die schwache konische Fläche a, insbesondere die Kante b durch den sie als Hülle umgebenden Deckel geschützt ist, und' dafs es unmöglich ist, von aufsen mit irgend einem Instrumente an den Gummiring zu gelangen, um Luft einzulassen.
