Description
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Reffeinrichtung für Segel auf Segelschiffen o. dergl. mit einer, insbesondere diagonal angeordneten, Scheibenrolle.The invention relates to a reefing device for sails on sailing ships or the like with a disc roller, in particular one arranged diagonally.
Reffeinrichtungen, häufig Reffkausch oder Reffleine genannt, sind seit einer Vielzahl von Jahren bekannt und in Verwendung. Diese bestehen jedoch durchweg aus Stahl-Ringen oder Ringteilen (teilweise auch aus Kunststoff), welche mittels speziellen Presswerkzeugen in die, in den Segeln vorbearbeiteten, Löcher mit großem Kraftaufwand eingepreßt werden. Hierdurch werden die Segeltuch-Lochkanten nunmehr von dem eingepressten Ring fest umschlossen und die Reffleine kann eingeschoren werden.Reefing devices, often called reefing thimbles or reefing lines, have been known and used for many years. Nachteile der hier verwendeten Reffkausch sind darin zu sehen, daß aufwendige Spezialwerkzeuge zum Montieren erforderlich sind und daß die Reffleinen über den kleinen Radius der Reffkausch gezogen werden müssen, um das Segel in seine neue Position zu ziehen und dort zu halten. Dies ist nur mit großem Kraftaufwand möglich. Die Reffeinrichtung besteht aus zwei tragenden Aufnahmeelementen, den Lagerschilden *, die auf der dem Segeltuch zugewandten Seite eine Verzahnung 2 tragen. Durch diese Verzahnung wird eine besonders hohe Haftung zwischen Segeltuch und Lagerschild erziehlt *. Die Lagerschilde erhalten auf der dem Segeltuch abgewandten Seite eine strömungsgünstige Formgebung. Die Lagerschilde weisen eine diagonale Durchdringung auf, in welche die Scheibenrolle 3 auf einer Achse 4 lagert. Lagerschild und Rolle sind so dimensioniert, daß keine störenden Kanten überstehen. Ferner erhalten die Lagerschilde auf ihren Außenseiten Ausfräsungen ^, so daß die Reffleine jeweils ca. 90 aus der senkrechten frei auslenken kann.The reefing device consists of two supporting elements, the bearing plates *, which have a toothing 2 on the side facing the canvas.
