DESCRIPTION

A kitchen base cabinet (1) for at least eight sorted waste (3), on small wheels (2), pull-out as an independent unit (1/2) and transportable to other places in the room after use.

With a total capacity of 60 litres, it can be just 19.5 cm wide and have the usual depth of 55 cm for base units. Its height corresponds to the surrounding units. In the drawings, it is the commonly used 86 cm. With these dimensions, it only requires a gap of 20 cm from the entire built-in system.

The structure of the front is the same as that of the other base units in whose row it is installed and forms a unit with them.

If the garbage is sorted more than eight times, only the width will increase by 19.5 cm and the upper plate will then have more openings.

This 60 1 base cabinet (1) has seven different openings (3) at the top, the shape of which allows you to throw in up to standard 850 ml/1 kg food cans (up to 10.5 cm 0) (3 b, 3 c), or standard up to 2 1 glass bottles (3b, 3c), or 0.3 1 small aluminum drinks cans (3 e) (e.g. cola cans), or through the openings for plastics (3 d) you can also throw in standard 1 1 plastic kitchen detergent bottles.

Bags (9) are inserted into the openings (3)»· They have handles (9 b), which means that the waste can be carried away in them without having to be moved. The bags (9) are reusable and washable. For compostable, organic kitchen waste, it is advisable to use degradable plastic bags, which can be closed and put into the large collection bin together with the waste. This prevents unpleasant smells from spreading.

The bags for medicines are narrow and long, so that the contents are out of reach of children's hands. The existing plastic bags of various sizes can also be used. They are not environmentally friendly!

All openings have their own metal frames (10) into which the collection pockets (9) are pushed a little from below upwards and then turned back outwards (9 c). Pushed in this way into the similarly shaped openings (3) they are held in place.

On the upper surface of the cabinet, between the openings, a permanent magnet is installed (6). Ferrous metals are attracted, but non-ferrous metals, such as aluminum, are not. Once identified, they are collected separately.

The openings are covered to prevent odors from escaping and to keep flies and other things away. The cover (7) is about 70 cm long and the same width as the box. For 60 liter contents it is 19 cm. One end of the cover is attached to the table top (8) from below, at the front (7 a) and the other end is weighted down (7 b).

By pushing in the cupboard (1), the entire upper surface with the pocket openings (3) is covered at the same time. The weight at the other end (7 b), which hangs down about 20 cm over the box, keeps the cover taut and the openings well closed. Even if the box is only partially pulled out (1/3), which is the case if, for example, only the opening for the kitchen waste is needed, which is located at the very front (3 a), the other pocket openings remain covered.

The built-in box has a large opening (4) on each side with a hole (4 a)i The openings are offset from each other, which ensures good access to the interior; changing the pockets (9) is easy. Pure waste paper, e.g. newspapers, is collected on the floor of the interior, under the pockets (3 h).

A flat, simple drawer is attached to the bottom (5) in which spare bags are stored.
