Ein um eine Achse α α drehbarer Behälter b ist in seinem Mantel oder Boden mit einer Entleerungsöffnung c versehen, Die Oeffnung wird geschlossen durch einen darauf liegenden Schieber d, welcher um den Behälter in. dessen Drehrichtung concentrisch oder annähernd concentrisch verschiebbar ist. Während des Arbeitsprocesses des Behälters, bestehend in ununterbrochener Umdrehung zu Misch-, Zerkleinerungs- oder ähnlichen Zwecken wird der Schieber, die Oeffnung des Behälters schliefsend, von diesem mitgenommen. Nach Beendigung des Arbeitsprocesses jedoch wird durch Verschieben eines geeignet angebrachten Knaggens e der Schieber, sobald er in seiner Umdrehung gegen letzteren stöfst, zurückgehalten; der Behälter dreht sich dann unter dem Schieber weg und entleert durch die nun frei werdende Oeffnung das eingefüllte Material. Ist der Behälter, in seiner Drehung mit der Oeffnung über dem Schieber wieder angelangt, so wird durch einen an dem Behälter oder an seiner Achse angebrachten Ausrücker^ der den Schieber zurückhaltende Knaggen zur Seite geschoben, dadurch wird der Schieber frei und in der Verschlufsstellung von der Trommel mitgenommen. Die Verbindung des Schiebers mit dem Behälter kann derart gewählt werden, dafs er nur beim Schlufs der Oeffnung mit der zur Mitnahme nöthigen Spannung auf dieser aufliegt, während nach Durchdrehen der Oeffnung unter dem Schieber sich ein gewisser Spielraum zwischen letzterem und der Behälter^ wandung bildet, der unnöthiger Reibung vorbeugt.. Die Form des Behälters kann eine verschiedenartige sein, Bedingung ist, dafs die Oeffnung und der Verschlufsschieber einander entsprechende Rotationsflächen in der Drehrichtung des Behälters haben. Wird eine der Kopfwände eines derartig ausgestatteten Behälters mit einer centralen Oeffnung versehen, in welche ein Füllcylinder hineinragt, so kann das Einfüllen und Entleeren des zu bearbeitenden Materials bei beliebiger Dauer des Arbeitsprocesses geschehen, ohne dafs der Umlauf des Behälters unterbrochen wird.A container b rotatable about an axis α α is provided in its shell or bottom with an emptying opening c .
