On fuse bases for 25 to 6oA, which were previously with one in the foot contact rail
screwed fitting screw have been provided, one goes over to it in place
the fitting screw to use fitting rings. The fitting rings allow an immediate
Touching the foot contact of the fuse link with the foot contact rail. You ex demand
.a holding device in .the receiving space for the fuse link. According to the invention
the holding device consists of two or more U- or V-shaped spring plates,
which are used in pockets of the insulating base extending from the melting point
are and partially protrude with their ends into the fuse link space. The holding device
According to the invention has the advantage that it is in the fuse base without enlargement
the dimensions of the fusible link space can be arranged and without tension
is.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing.
FIGS. I and 2 show, in a section and a plan view, the fuse base
according to the invention. FIGS. 3 to 5 show a detail of its own.
i an.
With i. The insulating base is referred to, which the threaded glasses 2 and
the foot contact rail 3 carries. q. is the receiving space for the in the fuse base
fuse insert to be used. In the recording room q. there is a fitting ring-5,
in order to prevent the insertion of fusible links with higher rated currents. Of the
The fitting ring 5 is secured in its position by a holding device. The holding device
consists according to the invention of two or more U-shaped spring plates 6; those in pockets

¢ tower. Instead of the U-shaped spring steel sheets, V-shaped spring steel sheets can also be used
will. The pockets 7 go from the receiving space q. of the fuse link from and
are made by different upper and lower punches when pressing the insulating base.
The spring plates 6 have legs of unequal length. The longer leg is used for
Hold the fitting ring 5, and the shorter leg is permanently on the insulating base
i at. The shorter leg is dimensioned so that the spring plate with its long
Legs neither strongly into the receiving space q: nor against the side wall
of the recording room. This happens because the pressure point of the shorter
Leg at about .der height of the floor of the receiving space q. lies. Preferably
both legs are slightly bent inwards. In this way the longer one allowed
Leg an easy insertion of the fitting ring. The inwardly curved end of the
short leg prevents the spring plate when removing the fitting ring
is not pulled too far up against the current-carrying threaded glasses. Around
give the fitting ring an approximately centric seat in the receiving space ¢, it is
It is advisable to shape the longer leg of the spring steel sheet into a circle (Fig. q:
and 5). To make the centric seat even cheaper, the spring steel sheets
on the oblren part of the longer leg on both sides with one flap each
be provided, which attaches itself to the circumference; of the fitting ring.
The spring plates used for the holding device according to the invention
only require small pockets to accommodate them in the insulating base:
In .Diese way, the holding device according to the invention in the small to
The space available in the fuse base can easily be installed.
