Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine weitere Ausbildung der Vorrichtung zur Sicherung feuergefährlicher Flüssigkeiten und Gase gegen anlaufende @Explosionen nach Patent 754 I10.The invention relates to a further embodiment of the device for Protection of flammable liquids and gases against starting @explosions according to patent 754 I10.

Die anlaufende Explosion muß also vor Passieren des Zutritts c einen wesentlichen Teil des Rückführungskanals a durcheilen. Durch den Widerstand der in Abhängigkeit von der NW bestimmten Krümmung des Rückführungskanals wird die Geschwindigkeit herabgemindert, wodurch gleichzeitig die Randdrücke der Flammenfront geringer werden. Die Gefahr der seitlichen Fortpflanzung der anlaufenden Explosionen mit erhöhter Anfangsgeschwindigkeit wurde dadurch beseitigt, so daß die den Einströrnun@gskanal umfassende kammerartige Erweiterung nach dem Hauptpatent in Fortfall kommen konnte. Hierdurch wurde eine Herabsetzung des Durchflußwiderstandes während des normalen Betriebes erreicht. Gleichzeitig wird der durch die anlaufende Explosion in dem Gehäuse d entstehende Vordruck durch die Herabminderung der Geschwindigkeit naturgemäß auch geringer, wodurch die Durchzündfähigkeit des explosiven Gemisches kleiner, also die Durchschlagssicherung gegenüber der Vorrichtung nach dem Patent 754 11o eine noch größere ist. Eingehende Versuche haben ergeben, daB die in dem Patent 754 110 vorgesehene kammerartige Erweiterung der Zuleitung gleichfalls in Fortfall kommen konnte, da die Geschwindigkeit der seitlichen -Ausbreitung der Flammenfront weitaus geringer ist als die Geschwindigkeit in der Stoßrichtung.The starting explosion must therefore rush through a substantial part of the return channel a before it passes through the inlet c.
