Description

Sicherheitsvorrichtung für Dampferzeugungsanlagen mit- zwei oder mehreren umlaufenden Dampfkesseln oder stillstehenden Kesseln mit umlaufender Wasserschicht. Die vorliegende Eifindung betrifft eine Dampferzeugungsanlage mit zwei oder mehreren parallel arbeitenden, in derselben Feuerkammer angebrachten umlaufenden Dampfkesseln oder stillstehenden Kesseln mit umlaufender Wasserschicht. Die Erfindung besteht in einer Vorrichtung, durch die bei etwaiger Explosion eines dieser Kessel verhindert werden soll, daß durch das bei Explosion entstandene Leck Wasser oder Dampf aus den-anderen Kesseln oder aus daran angeschlossenen Rohrleitungen herausströmt, wodurch die Explosion noch vergrößert werden könnte. Die Vorrichtung besteht darin, daß -im- ,Wasserzufluß und im Dampfabfluß eines =jeden Kessels Absperrventile angebracht sind, die bei einem etwaigen Kesselbruch vermittels des durch das Leck herausströmenden Wassers oder Dampfes den zerstörten Kessel von den übrigen Kesseln bzw. den Rohrleitungen selbsttätig absperren. Da im allgemeinen eine Explosion eines solchen Kessels auf Wassermangel zurückzuführen sein dürfte, findet sich in dem zerplatzfen Kessel im Augenblick der Explosion hauptsächlich nur " Dampf vor, und die Wirkung der Explosion wird bei Verwendung des Erfindungsgegenstandes nur die sein, daß die indem geplatzten Kessel befindliche, verhältnismäßig unbedeutende Dampfmenge in die Feuerkammer strömt, während das in den übrigen Kesseln befindliche Wasser ebenso wie der Dampf in denselben und den Rohrleitungen vom Leck selbsttätig abgesperrt ist.Safety device for steam generating systems with two or more circulating steam boilers or stationary boilers with a circulating water layer.
