If the patient is receiving vital mechanical care, he or she is transported to the hospital, although an interruption of mechanical care can have irreversible consequences for the patient. However, the interface between the rescue vehicle and the hospital is always very problematic for everyone involved. All resuscitation elements had to be carried along under sometimes very difficult conditions, and the oxygen supply and cardiac massage must not be interrupted under any circumstances. In some hospitals, the intensive care units are only accessible via very long routes or they are on other floors and the only way to get there is by elevator. The Reamobil makes it possible to connect the patient to the Reamobile's equipment in a controlled manner when unloading, and to observe and operate the resuscitation elements thanks to the 4-5 degree position of the support plate.

Manual cardiac massage can be continued without any problems, as the rescue team's hands are no longer tied by the material they have to carry.

The stretcher base alone cannot solve this problem, as it is designed exclusively for patient transport.

The essence of the Reamobile lies in its ability to transport patients, in the possibility of coupling the patient to its integrated units and it offers the alternative of transporting the patient to the intensive care unit in a controlled manner while the rescue team remains largely mobile. Due to the rapid readiness for use and the availability of the resuscitation units, the short time it takes to couple the equipment from the ambulance to that of the Reamobile can be ignored; this is seconds and is irrelevant for the vital functions.

A clear advantage of the Reamobil is the fact that the rescue or emergency vehicle is ready for use again very quickly and time-consuming storage is no longer necessary. Working with the Peamobil in the dark is supported by the light inside the device, so that no delays occur here either.

Transporting a patient under resuscitation conditions usually required turning off the infusion and transporting it lying on the stretcher. The infusion stand attached to the resuscitation stand makes it possible to continue volume replacement or infusions and infusion additives that are important for the acid-base balance of a patient without interruption, since volume deficiency or the pH value of the blood can be relevant to the success or failure of resuscitation. The inspection and maintenance hatch allows the O2 bottle to ^be replaced if necessary. Routine maintenance and repairs to the resuscitation units can be carried out.
