HOLDER FOR VEHICLE LOCK

The innovation concerns a cold forged "1-wheel bicycle frame part " which holder can hold a wire axle which comprises a lock housing with a wire attached to one end and a lock lock formed at the other end of the wire, which lock lock is inserted in connection with the locking mechanism in the underside of the lock housing.

Holders of this type are known, for example, from the description of the DB Oebrauchamust^r Kr. G 83 28 Sl? and 0 87 17 397.

These brackets are designed with a hole for a bolt for attachment to the bicycle and are also provided with a hole through which a part of the lock can be inserted and locked with the cooperating part of the lock located at the other side of the hole.

By attaching the lock to the holder, the lock is secured to the bike. The lock can then be unlocked, removed from the holder and used as a bike lock.

This means that the lock is placed in the holder while riding, so that the lock is always carried on the bike and can be removed when it needs to be locked.

However, the application of these known locks is unavoidable.

g-uem, because the inner lock part has to be inserted through a hole before it can be connected to the lock housing. This requires that both hands are free for this handling, since the lock parts are in each hand. Furthermore, the connection must be made through the holder and where something is done, e.g. under the saddle, there is little space.

The innovation is based on the task of eliminating these disadvantages

to remedy this, and this is achieved by means of a cooler consisting of a plate bent at a right angle, which is provided on one part of the plate with clamping screws for a fastening bracket and on the other part of the plate with a semi-circular notch, which notch is provided with a projecting edge, and that the lock stop has a circular groove which can receive the projecting edge of the holder when the lock aperture is inserted into the lock housing.

This results in a considerably simpler arrangement of the lock in the holder, since the lock parts can be engaged outside the holder, after which the lock can be attached to the holder and locked with it.

This can be done with just one hand, which makes attaching the lock to the holder much easier, as both hands do not have to be used when attaching the lock.

If the holder is provided with a curved piette part with a notch, as stated in claim 2, the lock housing can be easily guided on its plate around the edge before locking.

Finally, it is advantageous, as stated in claim 3, to provide the holder with small holes for screws for fastening to the bracket, thereby easily adjusting the fastening according to the shape and size of the bicycle frame.

In the embodiment shown, the holder is a part formed from a metal plate 8 which is bent at one side edge to form a plate part 4, which plate part 4 has two elongated holes 5.

Through these holes 5 a screw or a bolt 3

which can be inserted through holes in a metal bracket 2 and finally fitted with a nut.

This allows the holder to be attached to a frame part, such as a saddle holder 1 or similar on a bicycle. In order to be able to arrange the holder on different frame parts, the screw spacing can be adjusted or the bracket 2 can be arranged.

The holder θ is further bent at one of its end edges to form a stop 6 with a notch 7. As can be seen from Fig. 3, this notch 7 makes room for the wire 12 where it is fastened in the lock housing Ii.

Finally, a semicircular incision 10 is provided on the free edge of the plate 8, which is provided with an edge 9 along its lower edge, see especially Fig. 2. This edge 9 can be a curved fiettönköTttw sslr., cdsr sr can be connected to the plate 8 by welding or the like.

The lock comprises, as can be seen from Fig. 3 and 4, a lock housing 11 with a wire 12. At the opposite end of the wire there is a handle 13 with an end piece 14 and with a protruding lock catch 16. The lock catch 16 is rounded at the end and a little way from the end is provided with a notch 17 for the catch 18 in the lock housing 11, see Fig. 4.

running groove or recess 15 is formed, which groove can receive the edge 9 of the holder when the lock is fastened around the holder during locking.

When the lock is to be attached to the holder, the lock catch 16 is inserted into the receiving hole in the bottom of the lock housing, after which the lock catch 16 is inserted into the recess 10 where the assembly of the holder takes place. When the lock housing H and the catch 16 are then attached, the lock catch can be inserted into the locking engagement as shown in Fig. 4, where a locking pin 18 engages in the groove 17.

The locking bolt 18 can be pulled out using a key 20 in the lock cylinder 19.

In this position, the lock remains securely held in place by the protruding edge 9 being in the groove 15, so that the lock can only be removed using the key to unlock the lock 19. When the lock is used, it is unlocked, and the lock can then be removed from the holder and used as a bicycle lock.

HOLDER FOR BICYCLE LOCK Sohutzanspruohe 1. Holder for fastening to a bicycle frame part, which holder can hold a wire lock, which comprises a lock housing with a wire attached to one end of the wire and a sole lock formed at the other end of the wire, which lock is inserted into the underside of the lock housing in connection with the lock, characterized in that the holder consists of a plate (4, 8) bent at a right angle, which is provided on one plate part (4) with clamping screws (3) for a fastening bracket (2) and on its other plate part (Θ) with a semicircular cut (10), which cut (10) is provided with a protruding edge (9), and that the lock lock (13, 14, 16) has a circular groove (15) which can accommodate the protruding edge (9) of the holder when the lock lock (13, 14, 16) is inserted into the lock housing (11) (Fig. 4). 2.
