Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schuhinnensohle, insbesondere Zwischen- oder Brandsohle für Arbeite- oder Sicherheitsschuhe, mit einem Binder und ggf. Ein aus einer Mischung von Polypropylen- mit Polyesterfasern sowie 2 Gew% Stahlfasern einer Stärke von ca. 9 dtex und einer Länge von ca 40 mm bestehender, genadelter Vliesstoff mit einem Gewicht von 350 bis 550 g/m2 und einer Stärke von 2-3 mm wird mit 100 Gew.% einer Mischung aus Nitrilbutadienkautschuk- und Styrol-Butadien-Kautschuk-Latex imprägniert, bei 150° C getrocknet und vulkanisiert. Anschließend wird der binderverfestigte Vliesstoff einseitig geschliffen, wobei die geschliffene Seite eine fußfreundliche Oberfläche ergibt.
