"Sick washing device'

The invention relates to a hospital washing device.

Until now it was practically impossible to wash sick people under running water without taking them out of bed.

The invention is based on the object of creating such a patient washing device which enables patients to take a shower in their hospital bed, in particular patients in the intensive care unit who cannot be transported to the washroom themselves.

This task is solved by a flexible mat made of a waterproof material, preferably plastic film, which is placed on the mattress of a hospital bed, the edges of which are pulled up on all sides to form a waterproof tray and reinforced against bending.

The mat is flexible and can therefore be placed on one half of the bed sheet without any particular difficulty, while the patient rolls onto the other half. Preferably, the mat is provided with a service trolley with a suction pump, which is connected to the fitting of the drain hose, in addition to the supply hose and drain hose.
