The innovation relates to a lattice grille for installation in insulating glass panes with edge edging and glazed fields, where the lattices are made of aluminum. The cross-section of the profile (Fig. 1.3) is such that

a) Connections in the intersection and edge areas are provided on milling machines with the industry-known "Swiss Cross" milling (Fig. 2),

b) the connections in the crossing area are fixed by bolts, in the frame area by self-tapping screws, in a dimensionally accurate and form-fitting manner, and are also removable (Fig. 1.2, 2.1),

c) the fields are glazed with flat or curved panes using inserts in commercially available glazing tape (Fig. 3.2).

According to the current state of the art, it is possible to install lattice bars or lead or anodized aluminum glazing in the space between the panes for decorative, architectural or monument preservation reasons when manufacturing heat-insulating glass panes. The width and color of the lattice bars in the space between the panes give the impression of a real lattice bar when viewed from a distance, while the installation of lead or anodized aluminum glazing is traditional, handcrafted glazing.

The disadvantage of the previous options is that only unglazed lattice grilles or lead or anodized glazing in the

The latter were often rejected due to a lack of stylistic unity within the overall design of the building, while customer requests for glazed lattice grilles could only be realized by producing windows or doors with real lattice bars, which was considerably more expensive.

Manufacturing method to combine the decorative characteristics of both systems and at the same time to enable the repair of individual glass panels.

This goal is achieved by

a) the material and dimensions of the rung profile used enable the efficient production of the grille on industry-standard milling machines for the execution of "Swiss cross" connections,

b) the use of special connecting bolts and self-tapping screws ensure efficient assembly of the grille while at the same time allowing it to be dismantled,

c) by designing the rung as a &EEgr; profile, it can encompass any glass field with a recess of 5 Tim,

d) by enclosing the glass panel*?s with shock-absorbing tape, the risk of breakage of moving elements (door or window sashes) is reduced and yet the glass panels can still be replaced without damaging or destroying the lattice grille,

e) the aluminium material allows the bars to be coloured in any way by painting, powder coating or anodising to match the window or door leaf.

In order to prevent the lattice grille from coming into contact with the inside of the panes that make up the insulating glass, the crossing points are provided with screwed-on spacer sleeves with inserted plastic plugs (spacer Fig. 3.1).
