Dieses Umkrempeln ist aufgrund der Dünnstelle des umlaufenden Deckelrands möglich. An der dünnsten Stelle ist der

Wenn der Gefäßinhalt gegen unberechtigte Entnahme und/oder Luftzutritt geschützt werden soil, so verschließt ma &agr; das Gefäß nach dem Füllen mittels einer Folie od. dgl., beispielsweise einer kunststoffkaschierten Aluminiumfolie. Diese läßt-, sich besonders gut mit dem Gefäßrand verbinden, insbesondere, wenn das Gefäß selbst aus Kunststoff besteht. Der Deckel darf bei einem dermaßen verschlossenen Gefäß nicht ins Gefäßinnere hineinragen. Hierbei ist es dann besonders vorteilhaft, wenn der Deckel am Gefäß nicht durch axiale, sondern durch radial wirkende Eigenspannungen des Deckelfandee sicher und dicht gehalten ist. Gemäß der vorstehenden Ausgestaltung kann man auf einen ins Gefäßinnere eingreifenden Deckel verzichten und letzteren trotzdem sicher am Gefäß festhalten, so daß er während des Transports die stoßempfindliche Abdeckfolie sichert. Deshalb handelt es sich im letzteren Falle um eine sehr sichere Arretierung des Deckeis, auf die man vor allen Dingen während des Transports Wert legt. Hierbei hat der freie Gefäßrand 17 von der Innenfläche 19 der Deckelplatte einen Abstand 18.
