The invention relates to a wing holder for puncture needles.

Puncture needles are used to remove body fluids. To guide the needle, they are provided with a holder that rests on the skin after the needle has been inserted and, if necessary, is attached to the skin with an adhesive strip.

Practice has shown that skin irritations occur under the wing holder, particularly in dialysis patients who are treated for several hours.

These arise because the wing mounts used are airtight.

The result of this skin irritation is, for example, itching. Since the patient has to remain extremely still during the treatment, this condition becomes almost unbearable.

The invention is therefore based on the object of providing a wing holding device of the type mentioned at the beginning

create products that prevent such skin irritations by providing cutouts for air supply.

The adhesive strips used to attach the wing holder to the skin are permeable to air.

Figure 1 shows the wing holder 1" according to the invention. This is placed on a puncture needle 5.

The wing holder 1 is used to adjust the puncture needle 5 when inserting it into the vein.

For this reason, the wing holder 1 is designed to be foldable, whereby the wing holder 1 is designed with a material tapering 6 arranged on both sides, which, when folded, encloses the centrally arranged sleeve 7 in which the puncture needle 5 is guided (see Figure 2).

Plastic proves to be useful as a foldable material.

However, other equivalent elastic material can also be used.

In principle, the arrangement and shape of the recesses 4 is unimportant. It is only important that they penetrate the material so that they ensure the supply of air to the skin.
