B. Gichtgas. The invention relates to gas burners with gap-shaped air
and fuel gas outlet openings which are arranged alternately next to one another, in particular
for lean gas, e.g. B. furnace gas.
an spiralförmige Luftaustrittsspalte angrenzt.
With burners of this type, the gas-air mixture occurs at high speed
from the burner mouth, especially if the air is not properly mixed
and gas, which often breaks the flames, especially when burning lean gas.
According to the invention this disadvantage is avoided in that a gas supply
to the burner mouth open channel wound into a spiral, preferably
of U-shaped cross-section, in which the not yet through the open side
the amount of gas escaped from the channel at least along part of the spiral
the spiral center flows while the air supply through the spaces between
the turns of the spiral takes place, whereby the spiral-shaped gas exit gap on both sides
adjoins spiral-shaped air outlet gaps. It can be wound into a spiral
Have a constant distance between the turns. This spiral
and channel open on the flame side can be in the mouth of the supply line for the
Combustion air can be arranged. In the case of gas pressure fluctuations, a
Reached exit speed that prevents the flame from tearing off and that
Ignites the gas-air mixture. This arrangement also makes a good
Mixing and swirling of gas and air achieved at the outlet cross-section,
which results in good combustion. The burner can be blown or compressed air
or also operated for smaller capacities through self-suction of the combustion air
will.
The amount of gas that has entered the spiral groove is reduced
along the spiral inward path constantly around the open from the flame side
Groove continuously flowing gas quantity, so that the .Strömungsfrequenz in the
Groove is steadily decreasing.
The gas flows into and out of the inner turns of the spiral
in the longitudinal direction of the channel and in the direction of the flame slower than in or out
the outer turns of the spiral, so that the tearing off of the flame especially inside
Part of the mouth cross-section is prevented and approximately in the outer part of the mouth cross-section
Detaching parts of the flame ignited by the flame that has been preserved in the inner part
will.
The drawing shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention
Shown in elevation and plan.
The gas supply line d continues in a channel c with a U-shaped
Boundary walls away. The gutter is wound in a spiral releasing it
a constant distance between their turns, so that a spiral air gap
arises, which is adjacent to the spiral gas channel on both sides. The spiral trough
is arranged in the mouth of a burner tube a, the air through the line
b is fed tangentially.
The air flows freely through the between the turns of the spiral
remaining spiral gap f and mixes with the escaping from the channel
Gas to form a fuel mixture. The exit velocity of the gas afis
the channel in the direction of the flame increases with the length of the channel as a result of the
constantly reducing the flow rate, so that at least in the middle part of the mouth cross-section
the speed of the combustion mixture is lower than the ignition speed,
so that the flame cannot break down.
