Description

Method for the luster-free illumination of paintings and the like The invention refers to. on a method for gloss-free lighting of paintings and the like.

It is known that paintings, works of art and the like are thereby sharply removed to stand out from their surroundings. that one has an approximately uniform light over the entire Projected onto the screen. , Very often these projection devices have to be installed in the ceiling, the opposite wall, etc., so that there is a risk of that for the viewer annoying and disturbing shine phenomena through this light appear. It is also known to have a black and white or a color image to project the art object to the brightness or color contrasts in the Image itself, whereby the same disadvantages can occur as in the first one Case. According to the invention, a polarization filter should now be in front of the projection device be switched on, so that the gloss appearance for the projected light is eliminated comes. Unfavorable natural or artificial lighting is common in exhibition halls or gallery, the inconvenience of encountering that @ large parts of the picture for the viewer by reflecting the natural pool inlets or the artificial ones Light sources are obscured. If you now also work according to the invention! polarized light and measures the intensity of the projected light accordingly, then the gloss phenomena can largely be weakened, since the Grundbi.ldh ellness. is raised in relation to the gloss, so that it is relatively weakened appears. If one uses instead of the same: moderately projected light For illumination, a picture of the object, sand or painting is then taken according to the invention a gloss-free recording, in which one either has a polarization filter in front of the recording device sets or when using normal recording devices: the natural or artificial Equipping lighting of the object with polarizing filters. Because when using not gloss-free recordings or use not pol.aris@ierken evenly The annoying shimmering effect would turn around even further. By -the inventive Superposition of a gloss-free image on: the glossy object. or his Even lighting, dancing with) podarized light, the gloss effect becomes relative suppressed and thereby a flawless image viewing is guaranteed.
