Verfahren zur Herstellung von Sulfonsäuren bzw. Sulfonaten hochmolekularer
Nebenprodukte.
Wasserdampf destillation.Process for the production of sulfonic acids or sulfonates of high molecular weight
Paraffin hydrocarbons The sulfochlorination of high molecular paraffin hydrocarbons
available sulfochlorides are known to be of great industrial importance
as starting material for the extraction of washing raw materials. Your transfer in
Sulphonic acids or in the sulphonates which are valuable for the requirements of practice
but all sorts of difficulties. Their stability allows an acidic saponification to the
free acids not to. The all :: ohiolfyse produces considerable amounts. undesirable
Byproducts. The alkaline saponification carried out on an industrial scale leads
to the formation of considerable amounts of. Table salt, which is only more important if it is lost
Amounts of sulfonate can be removed substantially enough for practical purposes.
With: the separation of the proportion of unchanged hydrocarbons, their amount,
especially in the case of incomplete sulfochlorination, as it is to avoid the formation
is carried out by di- or polysulfochlorides, 50% and more: can be., are-at
the alkaline saponification requires special measures, e.g. B. Use of solvents or
Steam distillation.
Base ahdestilliere.n.As has now been found, leave. the sulfonic acids and from them
the sulfonates of the high molecular weight paraffin hydrocarbons in more reliable
and in a simple way without the disadvantages mentioned
and receive losses,
if. , the sulfochlorides mentioned, tertiary bases, e.g. B. pyridine ,, and water
in the, miocular relationship in the heat to influence each other. The accruing
Sulphonic acids are insoluble in the unchanged proportion, the hydrocarbons
and therefore separate - from the reaction mixture. Included after their separation
just her. very small amounts of the unsaponified constituents, thus showing a purity,
as otherwise only by using solvents: or by stripping with
a lot of water vapor can be reached. @ The separation of the sulfonic acids. of the
Base hydroahloride or the conversion .to the base sulfonate, e.g. B. Pyriidinsulfonat, and
Hydrochloric acid can be added by heating, expediently with the use of steam.
One can also add an alkah to the reaction mixture: isch directly,
