The present invention relates to an oven holder, which is suitable for supporting a bar of soap in a vertical position.

In such soap holders, the bar of soap is held near its ends in two fork-shaped supports that protrude upwards from a base. However, such soap holders can only hold bars of soap with lengths that are at least equal to the distance between the two support forks; such a support is unsuitable for bars of soap that are small to begin with or have become smaller due to wear.

In order to remedy this disadvantage, a soap heater is now proposed in which _, in addition to the two usual support forks, a third support is provided between them.

This means that the same soap holder can be used for different sized soap bars (e.g. laundry soap, toilet soap), whereby even pieces of soap that have become worn out through use or are too small can be held upright in relation to the distance between the supports.

The base of the outer support fork is advantageously positioned slightly lower than that of the outer support forks; this makes it possible to hold bars of soap that are not exactly rectangular (like some toilet soaps) or bars of soap that have become deformed due to wear.

According to another feature of the innovation, the base carrying the support fork has a number of suction cups on its underside for placing the soap holder on a support surface and is also provided with a raised edge running along its circumference to stop dripping water.

The innovation is described in more detail below using an example embodiment based on the drawing. Shown are:

As can be seen in Fig. 1, the soap holder according to the invention comprises, for example, a rectangular base 1, from the upper surface of which three support forks 2, 3 protrude upwards and serve to support a bar of soap in the gaps formed by the fork tines. Two of these support forks are arranged ^near the shorter sides of the rectangular base 1 and the third support fork is arranged approximately in the middle of the base.

The gaps (Fig. 1 and 2) of each support fork are preferably triangular in cross-section in their lower part _, while in the upper part the inner surfaces of the support forks run essentially parallel to each other.

The apex in the gap base of the middle support fork 3 is located somewhat lower than that of the two outer support forks, as can be seen in particular from Fig. 3. This enables a more secure support - even of larger pieces of soap in the middle area, as is often the case with toilet soaps or is caused by wear.

The base 1 has suction cups 5 (Fig. 2 and 3) on its lower surface for securing the soap holder to a support surface, and has a raised edge 6 along its circumference to stop dripping water.

As can be seen, the soap holder described fully satisfies the requirements set, even a soap bar that is smaller in size or has become smaller due to wear than the distance between the two outer support forks, which are held by one of these outer forks and by the middle support fork.

In addition, the gaps in the support forks are designed in such a way that they offer a secure hold for the various shapes of soap bars.
