Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Unfallverhütung bei Schiffszusammenstöfsen. Der Grundgedanke der Vorrichtung liegt darin, den scharfen Schiffsbug eines rammenden Schiffes auch dann noch, wenn das Ruder versagt, von dem bedrohten Schiffe abzuwenden. Zu diesem Zweck ist ein zur Längsachse des Schiffes querliegender Rollschuh um einen Bolzen drehbar am Bug des Schiffes angeordnet derart, dafs, wenn ein Zusammenstofs erfolgt, sich der Rollschuh des rammenden Schiffes in einem Winkel zur Schiffsaxe einstellt und an der Bordwand des gerammten Schiffes entlang rollt.The present invention relates to a device for accident prevention in ship collisions.
