Im medizinischen Bereich ist das Entsorgungsproblem besonders wichtigi ZiB* müssen Einwegspritzen und Kanülen mit größter Vorsicht behandelt und entsorgt werden; diese könnten beispielsweise mit AIDS-Viren infiziert sein. Es besteht so z.B. beim eventuellen Abziehen der Kanülen vom Spritzenkörper, dem Wegwerfen und beim späteren Entsorgungsweg Stichverletzungsgefahr und Infektionsgefahr. Aus diesem Grund werden diese teilweise umhüllt, was aber schon eine Stichgefahr beinhaltet. Teilweise werden auch Spritzen ohne abgezogene Kanüle in spezielle, besonders stabile Eimer zur Entsorgung geworfen, mit Gefahren auf dem weiteren Entsorgungsweg.In the medical field, the disposal problem is particularly important. Bekannt ist durch die Patentschrift 22 27 428 eine Aufbewahrungsvorrichtung mit speziell gestalteten Öffnungen* Diese sind so bemessen) daß die Kanüle nach Gebrauch knapp eingeschoben werden kann und dann durch eine elastische Verformung des Öffnungsrandes die Kanüle beim Zurückziehen der Spritze in der Vorrichtung verbleibt, zwar kann in dem Gehäuse ein einsteckbarer Körper aus Schaumstoff eingebracht sein, dieser dient jedoch nicht zum Abziehen der Kanüle, dies schon deshalb, weü das Schaumstoffmaterial nicht die notwendige Mindestzähigkeit/Klemmwirkung aufweisen kann. Bei aufwendigen Vorrichtungen dieser Art ist es auch nicht möglich, die Spritze mit aufgesetzter Kanüle zu entsorgen, da die Öffnung immer kleiner ist als der Spritzenkörper. Bei der Verwendung von Styropor, EPS oder ähnlichem Material entstehen kaum Umweltprobleme im Gegensatz zu z.B. PVC-Kunststoffmaterial. Da Styropor, EPS, auch einen relativ hohen Brennwert besitzt, wird es auch gerne von den Verbrennungsanlf.gen, zum Beispiel in Kliniken, genommen, was auch bewirkt, daß der Entsorgungsweg eingehalten und die Gefahr einer nicht ordnungsgemäßen Entsorgung, z.B. auf normale Deponien vermindert wird.The most suitable method of disposal for the box is waste incineration after it has been picked up by a waste disposal company or after it has been sent by post or other common means of transport.
