there are opposing waves obliquely to these arranged wings. With such a
Granulator is intended to produce granular, caked goods such as salt, sand, slag, etc.,
to get broken. For this purpose, the vane shafts are arranged in a container,
whose bottom has the shape of a double trough. The bottom walls are partially here
formed by grids, which have the purpose of passing through the wings of the waves over the
Grids to comminute moving material according to the distance between the grate bars.
The wings, which are inclined on the shafts, give way to one another in terms of their position
away. This ensures that the emetic mass is set in circular motion.
The two end wings of each shaft are designed as half wings, of which the
one right-handed, the other left-handed. This causes the

Erfindung dargestellt. In the drawing is an embodiment of the device according to: the
Invention shown.
Fig. I shows the top view of the granulator,. Fig. 2 shows a section through the granulator in the direction AB. The two counter-rotating vane shafts b and b 'are mounted in the end walls of the container a. Several wings c are inclined on each shaft, which alternately deviate from one another in their employment by about 5 °. The two end wings d on each shaft are designed as half wings, one being right-handed and the other left-handed. The bottom of the container a has the shape of a double trough and is partially formed by grids e . The grids e are attached from the outside of the troughs. A number of grate bars are expediently combined into a group in order to make it easier to change the grate bar spacing. The connection of the two troughs is formed by a flap f or the like, which can be disengaged by a control member g in the downward direction. The flap is used to clean etc. the inside of the container.
