Description
Feed silo made of steel wire mesh The invention relates to a Feed silo made of steel wire mesh and rivet rings arranged one above the other aims to create such a silo with improved utilization of its space and of greater economy.
Silos of the aforementioned type for preparing feed are known. she consist of steel wire mesh mats with a relatively small wire cross-section, which are closed in rings and arranged one above the other. The superimposed Rings interlock telescopically. For this reason, the next highest has Ring a slightly smaller diameter than the next ring below.
Ssindfaden is used to connect the rings to one another. the The inside of the rings is lined with a special paper.
During the fermentation process, the filled feed stick settles. Here the individual rings slide telescopically into one another, so that not only the original volume of the silo, but also the silo itself becomes smaller. Rips If a twine is set by itself during the setting process, all the remaining twine must. which connect the two rings with one another, are cut, because otherwise the rings would not slide into each other evenly, which is a major disadvantage would result. This fact requires constant observation of the fermentation process. The fact that the rings slide into one another is the cause of many malfunctions. which are in particular express themselves in a skidding of the silo. To reduce this risk, the silo set up very carefully on a level surface and the contents embarrassing be evenly distributed.
In addition, it is necessary to have a very strong, expensive paper to turn out to use, which as a result of the only one-time use makes the silo relatively expensive. The strong, expensive paper is therefore necessary because the next higher ring between the lower ring and the lower lining material slides downwards and this puts a lot of strain on the paper.
According to the invention, the above-mentioned disadvantages are thereby eliminated avoided that the individual mat rings made of steel wire mesh, same diameter having, with the wire rings facing each other, which run parallel, sit on top of each other and connect the vertical wires of the upper mat ring with one Overlap the upper wire ring of the lower mat ring on the inside. The wire rings sitting on top of one another are fixed together by means of binding wire or clamps tied together. The silo created in this way is both in the vertical and in the Stable horizontally and allows the use of considerably cheaper ripping paper than before. The feed stock can settle in a similar way to a solid silo, d. H. the feed stick slides down the liner, which essentially is not pulled down with it and protrudes over the feed stick after it has been set. The consequence of this is that not only the volume of the silo, which remains the same, but also the lining that has already been made when refilling the silo is used can be. In addition to the operating discount through the possibility of using it cheaper waste material results in a further operating discount, the slightly higher purchase price due to the larger wire thickness of the Stahldralitgewebes more than compensates for the previously known steel wire mesh silos. Even the internal pressure conditions of the feed stock experience through the refill option an improvement, which favors the dense storage and better conditions for the course of the fermentation process. In addition, there is a saving in steel wire mesh area and paper surface achieved because the rings no longer overlap each other. As a result of the increased stability of the silo due to the fixed connection of the rings the risk of skidding is as good as eliminated. Setting up the silo therefore requires less care and experience. The same applies to the filling of the silo and the observation of the filled silo during the fermentation process. A Another major advantage is that the new silo is used as a multi-purpose silo can be, so z. B. also as a drying silo for storing bulk goods of all kinds. It is possible to use the bulk material, for. B. chaff, coal, root crops, etc., through an opening provided above the bottom wire ring can be found.
The drawing schematically illustrates an embodiment the invention.
The silo is made up of the individual rings I, 2 and 3, which are placed on top of one another and consist of mats made of steel wire thread closed to form a ring. the Rings all have the same diameter and sit with the facing, parallel wire rings 4 on top of one another. The one-sided protrusion 5 of the each upper mat ring overlaps on the inside of the upper drab ring of the lower mat ring.
The mat rings are connected to one another by binding wire 6. At the When filling the silo in rings, it is lined with suitable paper.
