The limitation of wide openings in their opening position can be achieved , for example, by using an adjusting screw on the scissor joint linkage, which serves as a stop for a scissor arm. The object of the invention is to provide a stroke limiter for wide-angle hinges, in which the scissor joint linkage is largely protected from excessive strain and which can also take on other functions as an additional part. The invention is characterized in a wide-angle hinge of the type mentioned at the beginning in that the stroke limiter is an attachment piece for the intermediate link, against which the wing hinge part strikes at a predetermined opening angle of the hinge. Such a stroke limiter therefore acts between the wing hinge part, ie the wing itself, and the adjacent link. This protects the linkage itself and when a stroke limiter is not required, fastening points are not present and visible on the scissor joint linkage. The appearance of the scissor joint linkage is not impaired.

The bracket is advantageously made of plastic, with the bracket legs being slightly flexible. This results in a snap-on attachment of the stroke limiter bracket to the intermediate link. Assembly and disassembly is simplified. Tools are not required to attach the snap-on bracket.

The stroke limiter bracket of the invention also offers the possibility that the web of the stroke limiter bracket can be as strong and large as desired without affecting the other parts of the scissor joint linkage. The web of the stroke limiter bracket can be provided with an extension that rests on the web of the intermediate link. This creates a larger contact surface for the stroke limiter bracket on the intermediate link and at the same time ensures that the bracket is securely mounted on the intermediate link through friction. The extension of the web of the stroke limiter bracket also offers a surface that can be used for notes or other information. The bracket can easily be provided with technical data. The surface of the extension can also be used as an advertising medium.

The invention is explained in more detail using an embodiment shown in the drawing.

Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of a wide-angle hinge with the stroke limiter according to the invention in view and in diagram.

The wide-angle hinge 1 has a frame hinge part 2 and a wing hinge part 3, which hinge parts are connected to each other by a handlebar linkage 4. The handlebar linkage consists of the

Scissor links 5 and 6, which can be pivoted about a common axis 7, whereby the double-armed link 6 is articulated to the frame hinge part 2 at 11 and the double-armed link 5 is articulated to the wing hinge part 3 at 11. Between the double-armed link 6 and the wing hinge part 3 is the intermediate link 8, which is articulated to the axis 9 with the double-armed link 6 and to the axis 10 with the wing hinge part 3.

To limit the opening angle of the scissor joint linkage, a stroke limiter 15 is provided, which is attached to the intermediate link 8 and forms a stop for the wing hinge part 3 and thus the wing. The stroke limiter 15 is an attachment piece in the form of a bracket 16, which is formed from the web 17 and the legs 18 and 19. On the insides of the legs 18 and 19 there are projections 20 and 21, which engage under the legs 8a of the U-shaped intermediate link 8. The Legs 18 and 19 at the location of the recesses 8b on the legs 8a of the intermediate link 8, which are intended so that the intermediate link 8 can grip over the cup edge 3b of the wing hinge part 3 when the hinge is fully opened.

the lugs 20 and 21 are adapted to the shape of the recesses 8b of the intermediate link 8, so that the stroke limiter bracket 15 fits perfectly on the intermediate link 8. The stroke limiter bracket 15 can be made of any suitable material, preferably plastic. By engaging under the recesses 8b in the intermediate link 8 through the lugs 20 and 21, the recess becomes smaller in practice, so that the intermediate link 8 comes to rest on the wing hinge part 3 earlier, whereby the opening angle is reduced accordingly, e.g. to 135°, or when a bracket with a different design of lugs is attached, for example to 125° or even less.

The lugs 20, 21 used for the snap-in process act on the wing hinge part 3 in such a way that the force vector is directed approximately towards the axis 11, which is able to absorb a considerable pressure. In the present case, the stops 20, 21 come into contact with the pot edge 3b.

The web 17 of the stroke limiter bracket 15 can be equipped with an I extension 17a, which rests on the web 8c of the intermediate link 8. This creates a larger contact surface for the bracket on the intermediate link, which contributes to a more slip-resistant fit. The web extension 17a can also be used as a surface for notes, e.g. type designation, etc., or can also serve as a visible surface for advertising media.

Wide-angle hinge, in particular a furniture hinge, in which the frame hinge part and the wing hinge part are connected to one another by a scissor joint linkage, a double-armed link of the same being articulated via an intermediate link to the preferably pot-shaped wing hinge part, using a stroke limiter for the opening angle of the hinge, characterized in that the stroke limiter is an attachment piece (15) for the intermediate link (8), against which the wing hinge part (3) strikes at a predetermined opening angle of the hinge. 2. Wide-angle hinge according to claim 1, characterized in that the attachment piece (15) has the shape of a bracket (16) which encompasses the intermediate link (8), the legs (18, 19) of which serve as a stop for the wing hinge part (3). 3.
