Erfindungsgemäß dienen zur Halterung und zum Ausrichten der Lampe an der Fassung sitzende Klemmbacken, die die Lampe am Glaskörper einklemmen. Die Klemmbacken gemäß der Erfindung haben, da sie an dem Glaskörper der Lampe angreifen, gegenüber dem Fassungssockel einen vergrößerten Abstand und wirken somit an einem vergrößerten Hebelarm auf die Lampe ein, so daß das Ausrichten der Lampe gegenüber der Fassung ohne Schwierigkeit durchgeführt werden kann. Vorzugsweise sind die Klemmbacken innerhalb der Fassungskappe angeordnet. Auf diese Weise ist die Halte- und Ausrichtvorrichtung der Sicht entzogen. Zweckmäßig sind die Klemmbacken durch an der Außenseite der Fassungskappe bedienhare Stellschrauben verstellbar. Dadurch ist ein Ausrichten der Lampe ohne Abnahme der Fassungskappe durchführbar.
