Description
Process for the preparation of 1-disubstituted 3-aminopropanes Das i-Diphenyl-3-piperidinopropane is an excellent antispasmodic. His Production is described in patent specification 766207.
It has now been found that a Grignard reaction of substituted a-cyanoacrylic acid esters, of the general formula to fl-disubstituted a-cyanopropionic acid esters of the formula arrives, where in each case R denotes aromatic or heterocyclic radicals, which can also be different among themselves. By saponifying the ester group and decarboxylation, the corresponding nitrifs are obtained therefrom, from which the corresponding amines can be prepared, for example by catalytic hydrogenation. The dimethylated amines can be prepared by methylation, for example with formaldehyde and formic acid, or catalytic hydrogenation with formaldehyde. The other alkylated amines are also available accordingly.
